The good news is you can still play with no armor all the way to masters. The crazy part is there is zero reason to rat now since you will rank up faster if you don't, even if you die off drop pretty consistently
The saddest part is that you fighting the hardest fights just to get almost the same amount of points that you could have gain by watching memes. But not playing the game is not fun at all. :( Ain't gonna bother to hit my usual rank.

Me and my buddy only played to diamond but man we were dou trio-ing cuz we always had a rat as third teammate...we stopped after hitting diamond cuz it was mostly rats at this rate the game wasn't fun anymore........the ranked system is now two parts....part 1. See this respawn moment type shit is the reason I for one stopped giving AF about apex, and two stopped watching channels like “The Gaming Merchant” because he more or less glosses over the game’s flaws, while doing one sponsored vid after another and promoting their over priced skins and collection events with minimal, if any criticism whatsoever.
At least most the top 10 PC Preds are account sharing...that also makes it more fair. Do your job Respawn devs do us a favor and enforce your own rules.

And that is the entire problem. there isn't a good balancing posistion for a BR when taking ranked into consideration. Wins should matter the most, but the only way to win is to be alive at the end. I would propose an "ANTI-Rat" system that randomly teleports players that have been immobile for longer than 60 seconds. (say within a space of 1-2 meters?) no more rats. just different complaints.

Which takes good rat skills by the way and Knowledge. Atlest this season i chill, hf and laugh off people running legaly blind past me!
they have needed to strike a balance to kill farmers for a while. I prefer the current season (minus the "hidden" matchmaking system) to the hot drop -> get 2 kills drop to lobby meta of previous seasons.

tho i rarely play apex and when i do it well hell and i havent played for abit and thought "how s17 goin in apex?" and seen this video make me think what the hell has apex become? it was fun everyone fighting and such now it find a rat sim now geez apex has lot to deal with
