I just want to say sir that you have gained a fan! I was watching turning point from Dr. David Jeremiah on TBN. I heard you all sing one of Phil Wickham’s songs. Then I heard the second song and knew it sounded familiar. It sounded like a southern black song. Then… THEN…. You sang “in the midst of the storm.” I just KNEW from there you’ve been around Black people or you listen to black hymns/gospel songs. I don’t know which is it ! 🤣🤣 but all I know is that you gained a fan here!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Michael, I have a request for a future cover for you. I would love to hear your take on Paul Thorn’s “Mission Temple Firework Stand”. Sawyer Brown did a music video on it, but frankly he didn’t have the color in his voice needed to really pull it off. Paul Thorn does a good job at it, check out his vid, but you would kill it.
