- Testing a few different tips to see what kind of distance we can get out of the 1/2" All-Flo Air Diaphragm Pump. We also did some small tweaking on the system.

I had the same set up as a backup to my 5HP booster. The air was great for roof cleaning, but I absolutely hated using it for softwashing the sides of buildings. I sold that trailer and went to Gas Powered Systems. P40s is by far the best I’ve used in 30 years of washing.
Nice. We use the AR45 & agree with using the air for house washing. I need the knock down power from my AR. Thanks
do you run a backup 12v as well with ur P40s?
If you ask nicely I’ll let you borrow my pressure washer to clean that driveway…lol you’ve got more toys than Santa
Lol. I am trying to downsize a little bit. Been saving for the new pad with a shop. Hopefully soon! Thanks
I don’t have an AR but I do use a comet P40 and that is a beast. I just have an extra pump if it needs switchen over. 4 years on the same pump and it hasn’t said ouch yet. Chlorine is very nasty. I rinse my pump with a flow return, 4 gallon container of stabiliser after rinsing at the end of the day
Agree & it is all about the maintenance. We love the AR45, especially for washing houses. Thanks
4 years is insane out of a Softwash pump.
Roughly how many GPM does something like that throw out? That was the first real demonstration of a pump like that. Looking good.
@@northjerseykevin409 I never tested the GPM yet, but plan to in the near future. I will try to drop a video soon. Thanks
Admit it Herb… you’re just having fun now!
Yes sir. Love the new set up as of now. Thanks brother!!
Could this replace your AR? My ar is shot and im exploring what is out there. Thanks for the great video
I don't think it could replace the AR. It doesn't have the knock down power or flow like the AR. It has replaced our 12 volt with a little more distance..thanks
I downstream for house washes, I only use the ar for roofs. I like the distance and less volume for more control, less runoff and less chem is what im thinking. Let me know your thoughts and I look forever to all the follow up videos about this thing!
Agreed with less chem. The air system will hopefully be a long term pump for roofs & post treating.
@@allproexteriorservicesllc5338I asked you about 12 v on another video a few minutes ago. Are you happier with this setup compared to a 12v ? Thanks
@@northjerseykevin409 Much happier so far. Seems to much more reliable & the compressor comes is handy for other tasks. Thanks
were waiting on the escaping air.............. looks great though, but for it being a per gallon better system it seems very week spraying maybe I'm wrong?
The air finally cleared up. Lol. Thanks
Can you please try the AR orange gun. I’m curious to see what happens.
I plan to but I would like to upgrade my reel & hose to increase the flow. I will try to give it a shot with my current set up. Thanks
What's that gun your using??
It's a gun I built. I used a 1/2" riser with a sutner soft wash gun. Thanks
Try the yellow waterboss gun with the smaller orifice nozzle that comes in the box. I run that and the orange sani lav gun. Best gun selection for the air system in my opinion
@@michaelanello3344 Awesome! I run the orange Waterboss gun on my AR system. Looking to upgrade the hose reel soon. Not sure about the upgrading the hose to 5/8 yet, as my air system was meant to replace the 12 volt. I love my AR for house washing. Thanks for the info!
Switch to 5/8” hose. I have both a 12v and air diaphragm. They run through the same 5/8” hose. I run 225’ and it works great. I switch between the 2 systems with a 3 way ball valve but going to be changing it up shortly and will throw some videos on FB soon
@@michaelanello3344 18” reel? I don’t want too much volume when roof washing. But I could back down the compressor if needed. I have been looking at the Manta 15” reels. Thanks
Maybe its just the camera but that looks more like 2gpm lol
Yeah, it for sure is not 17 GPM. My 1/2" hose is not doing any justice, but it is more than the 12 volt. I plan to do a bucket test soon. Thanks
to me that air system looks the same as my 12v except it takes up 3x the amount of space and requires a lot of gas fuel.
It does take up more space, but you get a 5 year warranty on the pump. To me the AODD system is the most reliable. I would rather refuel then have a dead battery on a job as well. Plus, the 12 volt may decide not to work in a mifddle of a job. Thanks
