    Good job!👍
    Those boards are flash plating with low karat gold. A lot of work for a little Au.

    Muchas gracias.

    This was just a proof of concept, but a gram of gold is a gram of gold…
    Maybe there's some more in your waste solutions and filters.
    Many thanks for showing!
    Best regards from Germany!

    Somtime exces Nitric will not show until you boil the soluțion before denoxing, even some gold will precipitate because is cold outside, the main gold is stil in soluțion. So my advice is to boil to 100C, denox again, and with just a small amount of SMB, precipitate again. Soluțion is not crystal clear si that is a sign of exces nitric or tin/lead/silver in soluțion. Good luck.

    First , boiling HCL to remove the solders !
    Second , hydrogen peroxyd with citric acid and water...! Need 3 , 4 hours only and you got all gold foils and your solution stay clean and easier for filtration. You have too much residue with your method and it s too expensive.

    well done for getting a gram out of that, 999 Dusan, ive just started a batch of 200 pentium4 CPU's, the ones with the silver plated copper tops & gold spots instead of pins, i removed all the copper tops with a hot knife & took the MLCC's, i got 165 grams of palladium MLCC's & 1 kilo of copper, ime using 40% strength acetic acid with a just a dash of peroxide to start things off on the stripped fiber bases, i will let you know the yeald when done in a couple of days so you know if its worth the hassle, i dont expect a lot but i though it worth trying as acetic acid is very cheap here. Ile be happy if i get half a gram of gold, anything more is a bonus

      Lot of cpu there. I do one smaller batch but i dint find silver there mate, onli tin plating on copper. Did you collect indium between caps and sillicon die?

    • @lukebowers536
      @lukebowers536 2 роки тому

      @@999DusanGoldrecovery yes i scraped the indium from the inside of the copper tops to, i dont think i did a very good job thos as i only got 9.8 grams of indium, probably loads more on the copper tops still to scrape off. I did wonder if the silvery coating on the copper tops was something else. I grow copper crystals for fun here so will be interesting to see what is in the sludge from the electrolysis cell in a few months.
      ime just cleaning up the solutions now as you replied, does not look like i got much gold but its very clean spot foils from the CPU bases with no muck mixed in. Ile get a dry weight before i put them in aqua regia, even a tiny amount of gold using the method i did will be a small profit, the acetic acid i used is very cheap & the heat came from my home heating so a very efficient recovery. Ime not looking forward to doing all thos MLCC's tho. i always seem to make a mess of doing those.

      @@999DusanGoldrecovery total gold yeald was poor at 0.7 grams of gold, lots of work for so little but the process was fun tho, ive learnt a lot about the makeup of modern chips, i scraped of a lot of lids a little better & scraped the back of the silicon chip dies, so now ive got 21.3 grams of indium in total,
      ile do the MLCC's tomorrow with grinding down & a hydrochloric boil & post the yeald of palladium & silver to, ive been told that the tiny 4 leg a side MLCC's on the pentium chips are high yealding for silver & palladium,

      Ap solution will attack such thin layers of gold and will be dropped out of solution by the presence of tin and other base metals into micro particles that would be hardly filtered. I'm sure you'll get some gold from ap waste solution. Goodluck

      hydrochloric acid will dissolve the solder, but i collect it because it can be sold even if its just regular solder. since you end up with gold foils with this method you can just rinse them well in the end to keep the dissolved base metals out.

    Thanks for sharing, I have a question, if pins must be boiled in HCL to remove tin, we’re the boards cleaned of Tin first, or is the AP contaminated with Tin, so can’t be reused and would it effect your yield, if the boards were not completely cleaned of Tin first? Thanks

    • @999DusanGoldrecovery
      @999DusanGoldrecovery  2 роки тому +4

      In Ap tin stay in acid so dint contaminated gold fiols and flakes. But you can reused Ap again, just you need ad more fresh hcl and only copper pins, if yours pins is magnetic, they drop copper out from solution and make you big mess.

      The answer is no. AP does not liquify the foils after they are removed from the board. You can try HCL + bleach...if you are trying to avoid Nitric, but, the HCL + Bleach is incredibly dangerous.
