LA/SoCa is an interesting mix of weather, terrain, culture, demographics. Few major metros in the US/ contain that combination, while all cities have both good & bad sides. Also, everyone rates things differently, so some folks focus on the natural outdoors, others focus on the indoor cultural or financial scene. But as with a city like Michael's hometown of NYC, today's LA is both better & worse than it was 30-50-70 years ago.
Beautiful places indeed! I think I drove that road through Topanga to Calabasas once, but don't remember. May have been on the way to Ventura, or would that be a weird route to get there? Anyways, thanks for sharing, added these to my bucket list. 👍
That narrow road in the vid goes to a dead end to the parking lot of Red Rock, so may have been diff! Although you can access Calabasas Peak from this trail as well.
There’s another set of Red Rock Canyons in Foothill ranch in OC which is much bigger and kinda feels like you’re in Sedona Arizona, you should definitely check it out
Something about LA and CA generally that always gives me a very creative and spiritual vibe and confirmed by watching these videos
Feel the same way! Lol
