You are right! I wasn't sure I wanted to buy a macro lens so I used my 50mm and bought some cheap extension tubes. When I saw my macro photos I was hooked. Later I bought a Laowa lens. You do a nice job explaining things.
Thanks! Your images are beautiful! I keep tubes in my bag along with a 1:1 macro lens. With the tubes I can get about 1.5:1 with a 50mm lens on my cropped sensor Nikon D3300. I have a collection of old but really sharp Minolta MD lenses, and with a glassless adapter I can use any of them on the Nikon camera with either the Minolta or Nikon tubes.
Further proof it's the person behind the lens that makes the difference, irrepsective of the gear. You have some great skills, really impressive - plus some of the weirdest bugs I've ever seen!

I appreciate it, means a lot. And yep that’s what I want people to realize because I get tons of questions about my gear and things like that
Thanks for the tips! You take some great photos!

Hello and thanks for sharing your video. Let me ask you a question, do you use any recommended macro rail ?
Thank you 🙏🏾 and I’ve never used a macro rail before
What do you think of D3400 ‘s internal flash and a diffuser instead of an external flash.
The internal flash is very weak compared to an external flash.
Its not the gear,it’s the photographer
Yep that’s what I want people to realize
