Wow that's terrifying. But I once had tape worm in my intestines. It was caused by eating under cooked meat on BBQ. The doctor gave me internal medicine which killed the larvae in the intestines. I felt so much better afterwards.🙏
That does sound like something out of a horror movie. I caught myself scratching my own head. Despite being so small parasites are truly powerefull creatures. I have seen clips with maggots in people's nose and ears. That happens a lot in Africa. I'm just glad she survived physically, and hopefully she will recover mentally as well. 🇨🇦
I personally have Toxoplasmosis & I live with live parasites in my brain. At first, I didn't notice it until I started sounding like I was talking in tongues & I started losing the feeling on the left side of my body . The doctors said that if I hadn't come in when I did, the infection would have killed me in the next two weeks. I couldn't take the pain medication because they were given me two 500 mgs of antibiotics every four hours & I'm allergic to high does of antibiotics , so my condition worsen. I went from 185 lbs to less than 130 lbs in that month, but by the grace of God, I survived it & then itt hit me again hard in 2013 I barely survived again. I live with the fact it can come back again because it's a live parasitic infection that will never go away, so I live my life moment by moment & day by day & I'm okay with that. 💜
@beckystevens3506 Unfortunately, they can not remove microscopic parasites from the brain still, so I just have to live with it & hopefully, it stays in remission until they possibly find one, but I doubt that will happen in my lifetime.
