its a small detail that idk if you guys catched but in early episodes when Irving has a wellness session with ms. casey she says he "likes the sound of Radar" and outie irving's dog is named Radar. Rewatching this show is sooo cool because you see so many small details like this that makes complete sense!!
I’ve rewatched this finale through reactions like yours countless times over the last 2 1/2 years and it still hasn’t lost its intensity. It’s a masterpiece in tension and anticipation.
Activities such as how to drive are stored as a type of long-term, subconscious memory, a so-called procedural memory. The innies can also walk and run, use a computer keyboard, and so on. Also, keep in mind that the innies aren't completely without skills and knowledge. Helly R knew that Delaware is a US state, she assumed that some of the symbols on Petey's map were houses (and asked Mark if she was right), and they obviously know how to read. The innies also seem to understand the various references in Ricken's book - and in the Handbook, for that matter! One of the best season finales I've ever seen! Absolute perfection!
Ahh -- great points! And yeah -- seriously one of the best cliffhangers I think I've ever seen. The last three episodes, really. But this one especially. Can't wait for S2.
The innies have literally never been out of their office so it makes sense why they aren’t moving with haste. It’s their first time in the real world and in their lives so it’s understandable why theyd get a bit caught up. Also, I thought the pacing built great tension so I loved it.
"... January I believe. Ok, that's not to far ..." Well if you would have seen this episode in April 2022, like I did, you would think differently! 😮💨
This has got to be like, the best written show ever written, or at least top 3. It is an absolute masterpiece. This, Shogun, and Arcane are the best three shows in the last half century.
One of my favorite things about watching reactions to this insanely good show is that in ALL of them, the reaction person/people are wearing the same outfits in episodes 8 and 9 cuz nobody can stand to wait to see that last one! Believe me, I get it; I am one of those unfortunate souls who saw this show back when it started, almost 3 friggin years ago!! I am jumping out of my skin to see S2!!
Guys, Thank goodness that we watched this show now. I couldn't imagine waiting 3 years for the season. Season 2 hype! January 17th can't come soon enough!
This is my favorite show of the 2020s so far. It's just built different from most other shows. I hope that the future seasons maintain the first season's greatness.
Arguably one of the best season finales of all time. It's so, so good. And to think I almost gave up on this show after episode 3. So glad I watched episode 4, because the ending of that episode had me hooked.
Right?? I think i might have had the same timeline as you. The first few were intriguing enough, but if it weren't for the channel, and for the fact that there was unanimous agreement about this being one of the best shows, I might have stopped.
The season 2 trailer came out a few hours ago. Man I'm lucky I watched this show for the first time a week ago so I didn't have an Arcane length wait for the second season.

Makes you think a lot more about the other points Ms. Casey told Irving and all the points she told Mark.

So good. The pacing. The reveal. The cliffhanger.
Chef's kiss.
One of the best cliffhanger endings to a season of tv. SO GOOD.
tbh the show took me a while to get into but WOW one of the best finales ever
Yes!! So impressed with this show!

absolute cinema.
you are so lucky you've watched the show at this time. we have been waiting to learn what happens next for 2 years 😭
Ahh -- can't wait for S2. We'll probably do a trailer reaction at some point. But new episodes can't come soon enough.

And it’s been 2 freaking years since that cliffhanger.
The thrill of this last episode still holds up
Right? What a perfect cliffhanger.
She's alive! Was wild, can't wait for season two
welcome to the wait of season 2.

Right? That wait must have been so painful 😩😩 - so excited for January!

Honestly. I feel like every frame of the show was curated so meticulously. So intentional. Loved it so much.

“Contingency” is the word you were looking for Erika 😂
Haha thank you!
Glad you made it to the end! Apparently there's a novella that continues the story in the interim between seasons 1 and 2.
??
@@jacksoncollini1520it's called the Lexington Letter! look it up!
1/17/25
Can’t wait!
Oh man you guys cut out Helly's apology, that's one of the best moments of the entire season
I had to rewatch that bit after seeing this comment. Yeah -- we definitely should have left that in. You're right!
21:56 damage control
Erika carrying these
Cutting out the iconic "they'll all be Kier's children"... what the hell?
