Creatinine levels can be reduced by 2 ways:
1. Stop its formation in the body
2. Excrete it out through urine
The waste product that is produced in our muscles is called creatinine. 9 tips to lower creatinine levels are:
1.#Avoidproteinintake
Kidney patient must avoid protein as it increases creatinine level and instead takes carbohydrates as they are easily digestible and absorbable. A patient can also take light protein like moong daal, masoor daal, and moth daal.
2. #Avoidvigorousexercises
Muscular activity increases levels of creatinine in the body. But a patient can perform breathing yoga exercises.
3. #AvoidFever
During fever creatinine levels increase very rapidly. So, it is important for patients to avoid fever.
4. #Avoidcoldclimate
shivering which happens due to cold climate increases levels of creatinine in kidney patients.
5. #Avoidhighbloodpressure
High blood pressure is one of the main reason for kidney failure or shrinkage. It is important for patients to monitor blood pressure daily. diastolic blood pressure of a patient should be 70-80.
6. #Avoidsalt
A patient must avoid salt or replace it with sendha namak. A patient must use pinch of salt.
7. #Avoidcaffeine
A patient must avoid caffeine-containing drinks as it damages kidney
8. #Avoidsugar
Diabetes is one of the main reason for kidney failure. So, the patient must avoid sugar to maintain sugar levels in the body.
9. #Addbakingsoda in diet
A patient must add baking soda as it neutralizes acid in the body.
