Hey y'all! If you wanna help support my channel, consider buying my album on bandcamp and leaving a review or checking it out on streaming services around the world: dylanparis.bandcamp.com/album/theres-something-better
This is AWESOME! :) What version of LK were you using? 1.8.5 or 1.9.0? We have just released 1.9.0 yesterday. Please let us know if some of the issues you had during this live performance are fixed on the latest version. Thank you!
Thanks for showing off your workflow! What is the stand you’re using to hold the iPad and would you recommend it? Looking for something reliable enough for live use.
It can be a nice workflow but this drum doubling and crashes has to be resolved, I also had these issues and also i had a problem when adding a new instrument while LK was playing the loop i accidentaly did not assigned a seperate midi channel so it normally effected also the drum clip and instead of drums it started playing piano sounds but after i fixed this midi assigning my kick drum and close hats notes stoped sounding, I saved the project and closed lk and aum then tried again and problem remained. Next day it became notmal again without doing anything. But without these problems resolved it is not stable to use yet. I hope good imaginando guys resolves these issues.
@@DylanParisMusic Actually i like very much using aum and like to use it as a daw and lk seems like the only possible way at the moment. But i see that even cubasis 3 is still dealing with problems also auria has crashing problem. Maybe new generation ipads with apple’s own proccessor will solve these problems permanently. But at the moment i am really confused with ipad investments. Most stable daw like app is still korg’s gadget. I am considering to use mostly korg gadget for compositions and extact the audio files and use it with less cpu consumption in aum together with lk and limited number of small cpu apps for preventing crushes.
Yeah I mean the macs are based on the A14 which is 14th generation apple hardware so I’m not sure ipads will get much better with new gen chips. I think the AUV3 standard is too unstable right now, it’s why Gadget is so stable compared to everything else.
@@thebluesbumrocknroll these are the problems of very complex software applications. LK is the most complex software piece we have. It is evolving very rapidly taking into account that only two persons work at it in a non exclusive regime. We have just released 1.9.0 that completly revamps the midi events timming to be sample accurate. This was a complex task but its done. We can now focus on new problems! If you are able to replicate a crash. Please let us know how. We hope that version 1.9.0 is more stable than the previous. Don't hesitate in getting in touch with us. Best regards!

I recorded a few days ago so must have been the prior version! I’ll test soon and let you know :)
I'm still seeing the issue after updating manually to 1.9. It happens whether I use KB-1 or the AUM keyboard. Only when recording
@@DylanParisMusic we are definitely going to investigate this. Are you on TestFlight?
I think I have a TestFlight account but haven’t used it in a while
Thanks for showing off your workflow!
