Nice video. Only live about 20mins from the Muesum. Also it is the only Complete ME410 in the world & the Lovely KI64 near it is the only known one left as well.
What a splendid aircraft is the Me 410 .German engineers are genius even under immense duress Germans where building formidable aircraft's like Me 262.British and Americans are copycats.
Hi there like your video very detailed.I live close to cosford, going to the airshow this year on june 9th.Your video on the BF109 masking, was the first video i saw before joining the utube modelling commuity 7 weeks ago.Really enjoying it so far mate.
Isn‘t that the one that did the engine run on this old UA-cam video? With that insane supercharger whine? Does the plane fly anymore or is it a museum piece only anymore?
+ me262omlett It is the same aircraft, but it was never airworthy and just did engine runs. The cockpit and electrics are not complete internally. Notice the squared-off prop tips. I'm not sure if it tipped while running or when it was being moved, but it was somebody's brilliant idea to just cut the prop tips.
+mybluebelly It is Me-262A-1/U2 Wk.Nr. 420430 surrendered in Denmark in May 1945. During repainting, several aircraft codes were found in the layers, and it is thought to have been assigned to 2 Staffel, I/ZG26. A second Me-410 is in storage at the Smithsonian Museum and it is Me-410A-2/U1 Wk.Nr. 10018.
What a Stunningly Beautiful Aircraft.

Also an example in the NASM in the United States.
Best looking 🔥🔥🔥
Are there any flying me410 that operate in the air today?
+ Brian Desir None and there are only two examples left. The second one is unrestored at the Smithsonian.

I would come over from Holland if you plan another engine run. I would suggest you make it fit for taxiing and increase your visitors.

So this is an original WW2 warbird, not a replica?
Yes, this is the real thing.
