Sew excited to incorporate embroidery! If you have embroidered clothing, tote bags, or towels, I would love to hear about your projects and experiences (as shared in the video--definitely a beginner over here). But so far, I'm in love with this other avenue of creativity! Happy creating : )

It’s so delightful seeing you discover a new skill and hearing you share with us everything that you went through to learn! We don’t get to experience these surprise moments very often and I so appreciate you taking the time (and being vulnerable enough) to share ❤

Thank you so much for your kind words! It can really be frustrating to do something for the first time 😆 but what a good learning experience. I am so glad you enjoyed and appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful and kind comment! Happy creating and sewing!

Love your embroidery design on the cute top with the ties. I’ve been embroidering on some of the clothes I make. Like the sleeve cuffs, bottom of skirts and collars.
You’re right it is great fun!

Thank you! Super happy with it considering it was my first time. 🤪 Sounds like you have made some very cute things! And you have given me some good ideas on adding to the cuffs, bottom of skirts, and collars! Happy creating and sewing!

Did you use a tear away stabilizer?

Looks like a great machine! Also really cute tote bag. What pattern did you use for the bag? Thank you!

It really is a wonderful machine! And thank you! I actually just self drafted this bag as I went. 😆 Cut two large square pieces to the desired size, added about a 4 inch width panel down either side of bag to add width to the bag-used French seams down each side panel of bag. Cut approximately 4 inch wide straps, fold in half so they are then approximately 2 inches wide, iron the rough edges to be folded inward. Sew down the entire length of strap. then I sewed down both sides of strap to front & back of bag. Embroidered my pocket. Added the pocket on the front, but sewed the straps over each side of the pocket to secure in place. Hope that helps and hopefully that makes sense! Happy happy sewing!

I’m curious, where will you take it for servicing or what if you have an issue you can’t fix? That’s what has kept me from buying it.

Hmm… I would probably look into a local appliance repair shop, but before purchasing, would absolutely check out if they have a warranty and or if they offer service repair through the company. This machine was gifted to me by Poolin-but that’s my initial thought.

When I got my embroidery machine 30 years ago, I was afraid of it, and I'm still learning to embroider different things.
