On the bags after you get the resin in them place your hand as close to the resin then twist the top a couple times and that will stop the resin from coming out of the top

Obviously you can see I do it the easy way.
I realized yesterday that maybe I need piping bags LOL those thin sandwich baggies just aren’t strong enough. I knew that ahead of time but I thought I’d give it another go.😂
I’m not crazy about the coasters but I do love the big one.

P.s sorry about the scratch. I swear every mold I buy off Amazon has some type of dent or scratch. But like you said you can do a clear top coat and it won't be noticeable at all. 😉😊💜💖

Yep, every single one I get from Amazon there’s some kind of a scuff. This one came folded in four ways. That’s scuff was the tip of a hold. What would it hurt to use a flat box?
Yeah, that’s all I’m gonna do is topcoat it. Oh by the way, I forgot to tell you. I put a topcoat on some of my coasters last week and I used the glue all method that you showed us. Worked great by the way. I like to use the glue all when it has those hard wild edges. Usually I will use contact paper but it’s kind of hard to cut around the sides when they’re like that. So it really helped out tremendously.👍♥️

I squeeze out as much resin as possible then I fill them halfway up with some alcohol or acetone 91% alcohol works really good and 100% acetone works great. Just shake real good and repeat if necessary. Soak your tips for about five minutes.

I hope I wasn’t confusing. Use the alcohol or the acetone. Don’t mix them together.

Lovely, such pretty colours 😀. Scribbling has definitely paid off. I bought two of these moulds weeks ago from the same seller and neither of them are scratched. I have used them yet but thinking of something xmas inspired for them. What a shame your mould is damaged but you could complain. Glad that the exercises are helping and that you feel better in yourself. Take care😀

beautiful !!! i am wondering if the resin you use is heat / water resistant for the coasters ? because that is what i am wanting like just to be able to put a cup of coffee on it or a cols drink etc! ok great job i love the huge one !!!be blessed
Yes every resin I use is heat resistant and scratch resistant however I have found them to not be good enough so I have started using a topcoat which is 500 heat resistant. That is very important. No reason to make them if you’re not going to protect them well. So that’s what I do now. Thanks Marlene

I'm a little bit confused 😕 of the 3d in general 🙄 here we don't have pinata 😢 but we've other brands which isn't that good 🙁 anyway, I need your help for the specific colors you're adding for the 3d technique 🙈 Do I have to put alcohol ink + pigment in each color ⁉️🙄🙈 & what's the difference between opaque white color & castin craft white color ⁉️🙈🙈🤔 I'm really confused & I need help 🙈 🙏☺️

Well you will want the opaque castin craft white Because it’s non-transparent. Regular acrylic opaque white just doesn’t seem to have that same effects. It just has something to do with it being a resin pigment and creates lots of different effects in resin.
No you do not have to put alcohol ink in your white. The only reason I put the pearl alcohol ink in my weight is because it gives it a shimmer. And the only other reason I put other colors of alcohol ink in my castin craft
Is because I want color. So if you want to change the color of the castin craft just add some alcohol ink color.
I have noticed that there are some cheap not really great quality alcohol inks out there.
But if you use a little bit more of it it will give you the color you need. Don’t be afraid to add too much of the alcohol ink.

Yes it’s very white Opaque
So when you add your colors to it you’re not going to get the exact color you’re adding to it because it so white.
You have to settle for what color you do get. And you don’t want to add a whole bunch of alcohol ink to get to that color or Mica powder. Because then the bloom won’t work so I just a little bit of Mica.
But the alcohol ink you can add quite a few drops. Because that really won’t affect the bloom. I add about 20 drops of the alcohol ink and then settle for it.👍
But only a touch of Mica to give it the metallic shimmer.
Don’t worry about asking too many questions. You have to understand it first and that’s what I’m here for it. Until you understand it you can ask all the questions you want.👍

Yes, Just enough alcohol ink to bring it to the color you want. And then just a little bit of the white. You can add the white first and then the alcohol ink if you want it don’t matter.
