You should have Ash have brown hair. Kinda from another family member. My whole family has brown hair and I have blonde hair....from my aunt and uncle.
There is a glitch that needs to be fixed; when you have your sim have their baby at the hospital (I haven't tested it at home.) their needs instantly go back up to full. I find it really annoying, so if anyone is reading this then PLEASE fix this.

I know but it always messes up my sims sleeping schedule because all my sims go into labour at night.
Isabel McDonagh It's not a glitch, that's intended to be the advantage of going to the hospital instead of a home birth.
