Hello! :) first off i love your dresses. they have inspired me to make some for my daughter! what size elastic do you recommend to do this? and is there a way to attach a ribbon on the actual crochet part of the headband without tucking in between each slipknot. like just attaching it striaght on to the headband so its smooth across?

How do you tie the ribbon on the elastic part without keeping it from stretching because even though I'm using elastic once I tie the ribbon around it keeps the elastic from stretching please helpppp
