"I didn't take any handouts" Man paid for all of his infrastructure, policing, schooling, healthcare, fire brigade, military and refused government pension contributions I guess?
Not pushing back on that is my biggest regret from this conversation. Was he born in an NHS hospital? Did he go to public school? Does he drive on public roads or get a business loan? People don't get to where they are on their own. They are helped and supported by a society.
Had to stop at there's no risk working in McDonald's compared to starting a company, living paycheck to paycheck in a situation where one unexpected cost could financially ruin you and having pretty much no job security so never really knowing whether you'll have a job and be able to eat or pay rent next month is a pretty fucking risky way to "live"

God this was hard to watch but you did so well Mr Tardis. I just can't with conservatives, their entire ideaology like you put it is simply "fuck you got mine", it is built entirely on seflishness, arrogance and narcissism. SoG's entire argument for every single point was just "well i'm rich and fine so everyone else should die", that's all he had. God how does anyone tolerates being around him, he just exudes snide narcissism and complete uncaring and aggressive hatred for anyone who is not him. You were calm and composed the entire way through and supplied facts whereas both SoG and Lance got emotional, angry and resorted to using childish buzzwords and insults like "libtard". I wouldn't have had the same patience that you did, but I thank you so much for being so composed and professional to people who absolutely did not deserve that courtesy
That was not a conservative not a real conservative I met real conservatives just turn on LBC real conservatives nice people outside their political views
These peoples' viewpoints completely go against most of the political and moral messages in Doctor Who. Sanctuary of Geeks with his "I'm doing well so no one else matters" attitude, and Lance with his picking and choosing attitude rather than looking at all the evidence given to him.
It’s really sad to be honest. There’s these fake ass conservatives in name only like SOG who have no sense of community, tradition or religion/Christianity that are rampant in the Tory party. Just know that many of us aren’t like this.
The most notable thing about this for me is that all of Sanc's "arguments" were attempts to intimidate, project power, or emotionally manipulate. "What's wrong with War crimes? Some of my friends do those."" (implying any criticism of the military is a direct insult to his friends) "What's wrong with Thatcher? My family got rich off her policies." (implying any criticism of tory policy is insulting his family.) and "Who's the most high profile person on your phone?" is an attempt to shut Mr Tardis up by throwing his media credentials into question. It really goes to show that trying to argue with tories on the basis of empathy or humanity is a complete waste of time. They only respect cruelty and authority.
My family actually became significantly poorer because of Thatcher's policies, she mishandled the economy and it led to mortgage rates skyrocketing, we lost our home and ended up in massive debt, I was 5 years old. The financial strain also put a strain on my parents relationship and they eventually separated 5 years later. So yeah, their entire argument rests on not caring about other people, but what if Conservative policies destroy their lives? Will they stick by their principles then? I doubt it, they will still be Conservative, but will complain about how its unfair they are now the one's suffering, and they will pivot and blame it on foreigners or the WEF or something else that is totally unrelated to their circumstances. Actually listening to Conservatives just validates my beliefs rather than challenges them. They prove the point, every time.
@@lloroshastar6347 I am so sorry that happened to your family. And you are right, when conservative policies ruin conservatives lives, they will turn around and blame minorities rather than self reflect.
Yeah it's amazing how many of those supposed Christians - ignore passages like you can't serve God and Manon (money), the love of money is the root of all evil and it's easier for a camel to go through the evil of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. These neo Christians so often resemble the Pharisees Jesus condemned than the followers he encouraged.
My dad lost his mum, business, and house within the span of a week during the great recession in 09 (I know Brown's government was in power back then - but I'm talking more about circumstances here generally). We lodged then for a while - I was about 11 then. Then he also had to leave a house with his partner he was engaged to once she made false allegations so we once again lost a lot of things - she kept a lot of possessions we had before we met and moved in with her. We got a few things back from in a police surrender but things like my goldfish at the time she even kept lol. Even clothes and aftershave - she was that odd. So with all that, he also lost his job due to said allegations. Then we were couch surfing again - though often also sleeping in a car - I stayed with friends as tensions were getting high with my actual mum who I went to stay full time with - parents are divorced. I was 15-16 then. Eventually after a tough time, and initially moving into a house later deemed unfit for human habitation - which we could've told you given it was literally wet and black damp to the point where wallpaper was peeling, the shower would trip the power out, the cellar was filled with stagnant water - where the electrics were. (I was finishing high school and going into 6th form here- 2015). We were on food banks too. During this time, my dad and myself (also with our dog) were told we weren't eligible for any form of support in. heating, electric etc despite him previously working his entire life prior and he was job hunting. We had to actively write to Downing St before we could get any kind of support. Though my old man eventually got into a better house that we're still in now since 2018, and since 15 - he works as a product manager for air purifiers, so COVID actually highlighted their importance when we eventually came back to reopening. But my point in that massive novel is there are so many factors and reasons people can't afford to live or have a roof over their heads - and the government are ambivalent at best. I'm 24 now, and freelance in theatre alongside wrapping up my masters myself - but you can bet your ass I'm still stuck at home under the current cost of living crisis under this government too - who again, don't care, because it doesn't affect them at all. I would love to see a reality TV show where Tories have to live in some conditions that the likes of us 'little people' do. Imagine blaming people for their circumstances.
That sanctuary guy says covid doesn't exist ? I've got it now and it's horrible . It's why I'm watching youtube on a Friday morning because I can't leave the house. "Someone has to be at the bottom " 😡Russell was too soft on them.
Very well informed video MrTARDIS. Thankfully I have not heard much from LanceVideos and Sanctuary of Geeks and I’m glad to see someone as well informed as yourself challenge these people and bring a very informative video to a wide audience.
11:25 Okay, Lance's train of thought makes zero sense. Like, why would 'excitement' matter in questions of economics and wealth disparity? You can be insanely pro-capitalist or horde wealth and be dull as dishwater or live a boring life. That's so not connected to any meaningful pro or anti-socialism discussion that I have no idea what point he thinks he's really making. Plus, socialist countries still do 'exciting' things. They have festivals and sports and entertainment, that didn't go away.
It’s like when you see a defence for the American Medical system being that you get a lot of “choice”. Maybe it’s because we have the NHS here (as of current) but why do you need choice in Healthcare?
"It's okay that we have homeless people in the richest cities in the world, sweatshops and people dying in the third world, because Elon Musk's antics are just so darn interesting!"
Holy shit I feel sick watching this and I’m only 8 mins in … I feel like I’ve just watched Will’s soul leave his body when that creep on the far left (ironic) said, “But I thought AIDS was real”. If you’re doing one of these again, Will, have a person with you arguing the same points since I applaud your effort standing up to them both, but you really need someone in your ballpark having your back in these horrid debates. Take care man. I’m sure you know that there are far more people just like you who find this rhetoric absolutely abhorrent, so don’t let it get you down (I’m sure it won’t, you’re a champ! But if it does then know you’ve got a whole community here supporting you).
I’m guessing Sanctuary of Geeks has yet to figure out the very complicated idea that there are other people who don’t have the same life experiences as him. On second thought, there seems to be something wrong. I mean, he’d be getting along with Nerdrotic wrong. Though also, he says ‘I am quite a fan of yours.’ And I’m just thinking… how?
@@SavageBroadcast Who is he we all need to respect each other's opinion in a debate even though we don't agree lot of people sign off in the radio world by saying that is just my view or something like that just either saying that makes it seem like that you you recognise other opinions either though in your arguement you may have not recognised other people's opinion and in the political world going down the pub with your enemy is sometimes seen as a bad thing It isn't It means outside our personal opinions we're all equals never going out with the Tory is the opposite of that and very divisive this is a vague answer because I don't know who he is
Genuinely disappointing that people think like this. Also, seems Lance is just bitter about RTD's comments because he can't handle being called out by someone he looks upto.
These people deserves no fame, their idea is to push information onto people. I've seen Lance talk to Tharries and I'm really shocked they believe this stuff...
I don't think they do believe much of it. They are outrage merchants who have an audience who love it when they say the most loathsome things and tell themselves they've triggered the libs. While they come off as incredibly stupid, I think they are acting that way intentionally. I might be wrong, but that kind of gift seems very popular and they appear that way to me, particularly SoG. Its depressing how popular their kind of content is, actually helping society move in a negative direction.
This going to do bits 👁 on views. I got 4 minutes and 51 seconds in. I tried. Regan ignored AIDS and HIV until he couldn't any more. Thatcher, well, if you can't talk about it then none of the bullying actually happened i guess. Mr Tardis I have no idea who you are until right now watching this. Bless you, patience of a Saint. I'll subscribe now probably
Man my Mum would have a FIELD DAY with Sanctuary of Geeks. My mother’s voted Tory, Labour and Lib Dem and flip flopped between them all, all her life, and she values just straight up fairness in politics. I think if you put her in a room with SoG, it’d test her blood pressure! Just to get my own political viewpoint out the way, I lean towards the left but more than anything I just value decency, humanity, compassion, empathy and good structure in politics. Something like a sandwich of Labour/Lib Dem stuff. Don’t like the Tories at all, don’t like Labour all that much right now either. It’s individuals like him that keep me voting for Conservative, it’s absolutely true to call them a death cult, or at least an indirect death cult. That attitude of “It’s not bad for me, so I have no thoughts and feelings for any suffering beneath me, and I’ll continue to vote for the party that prevents radical change to hold onto my wealth.”
Ahh I thought I'm feeling really depressed with the world I'll watch this Mr TARDIS political video because I know his views are all safe and it might restore my faith in humanity... Needless to say I had no idea who the other guys were and I missed the word debate
Sanctuary of Geeks didn't seem very intelligent... maybe that's a bit strong. He seemed quite childish then from just over half way he became much more sensible and not so antagonistic. Christian's on the other hand do my head in and I was quite pleased that the other guy left. I love Channel 4 the BBC and our fantastic NHS.
Watching this video gave me the same feeling as watching a cringe comedy however the fact that the people in it are real was rather disconcerting. I was surprised by how SOG made no effort to try and disguise his more extreme views and how he just went in with all the stereotypical conservative talking points like 'I came from nothing but through hard work I made my way to the top' and the whole insane conversation that ended with 'those soldiers were serving their country'. I admired how you let them speak so that they could get their views across as oppose to relying on insults as that way they showed themselves up instead of them putting up a impenetrable wall of defensiveness.
Notice how they always put up strawmen and insults, instead of arguments for their position? They were really aggravating and childish nothing-burgers.
Thank you for doing this, Mr Tardis. Sanctuary of Geeks really gets my goat with his vile bigotry. The videos he did on Nick Briggs and Big Finish about their "so-called woke ideology" was just pathetic and disgusting. There was a video he did when Stephen Noonan was cast as the new First Doctor where he said according to his "sources" that David Bradley was fired, which really doesn't ring true and just feels like an attempt to just have a go at BF once again. I am DONE with this grossness.
7:32 this video just came up on my home page, I’ve got to this time stamp and am already feeling the rage burn within me, you are a better person than I, MrTardis.
Come for the talk with Lance, stay for the discussion with the dude who is even more insufferable somehow. These positions they hold are so grotesque that one almost thinks they're doing a sketch. At least Vaush won the debate, I guess.
From the clips I've seen I know (at least right now) I don't have the mental fortitude to watch all of this and I would prefer my blood to remain unboiled. I commend your patience, honestly I have so much respect and love for you Mr TARDIS. I don't know how you can be so collected but I am so glad you are.
Just to update: I have watched it. Tory ideology is as confounding and painful as ever to hear but honestly you rebutted everything far more coherently than any point they made.
It's hard to make out, but around 6:08 when MrT quotes Boris Johnson's, "Let the bodies pile high in their thousands" (which is a paraphrase of Bob Page, the frickin' villain in Deus Ex, BTW), SoG literally says, "Yeah, what's the problem with that?" :|
The part where mr. of Geeks is mad that dude thanked the hospital for the delivery of his babies, and you had to explain that medical care is important? for births?? and many people die without it launched my sides into orbit
I've seen comments here and on Twitter say 'I want Who content, why the politics?' - I get the frustration, but guys, like it or not, LGBT people are being put in danger by various forces and, in our own small way, I think those with a platform in this community have an obligation to say 'No. This is not okay, and you are not welcome in this space'. No one, not RTD or any fan gay or otherwise, should have to put with the nonsense Lance is trying to pull here.
when Sanctuary was talking about poor people should die if they can't afford stuff, one line that came to mind is a quote from "A Christmas Carol" "if they're gonna die then they better do it, decrease the surplus population"
I feel like my blood pressure just went up from watching this. Props to Mr Tardis for keeping cool and calm during this interview and saying 'ok cool' after their ridiculous statements and carrying on.
These guys don’t deserve the airtime, with their bigoted opinions. RTD has it right. Just block and ignore them. They crave attention, so don’t give it to them.

@@iain9757 I’m a Brit but I find Doctor Who can be enjoyed by anyone. The Doctor, as a character, holds no pre-biases against anyone and is beloved by many communities because of it. It’s only when a person does an intentional wrong act where the Doctor will strike you off. But none of his biases towards a person comes from some uncontrollable trait or factor the person has I.E. place of birth, and with the Doctor being a role model character I feel that fans should try to live by that example and not gatekeep or have pre-biases that A shouldn’t have access to B because of C. I also think it’s cool that Americans enjoy and can watch a show that is made by another culture and creative team that can be (though not always) pretty socialist and compassionate and can carry that messaging through into the programme. We’re all fans here at the end of the day, we all love something about this daft, brilliant show, so if people across the pond love and enjoy it and take up its compassionate messaging just like we do, then all for more of it. I hope you don’t find anything malicious in my comment, I hope you have a good rest of your day!
13:00 for future reference the proper response to the "risk" argument is, 1: risk doesn't entitle you to wield Supreme executive power over the work place indefinitely, feudal monarchs and nobility took a much bigger risk raising armies and fighting wars to crown themselves king, but we still got rid of their power (though some of them still have a lot more than they should) 2: workers take the risk of occupying an often dangerous workplace where their surplus labour value is stolen as profit, their humanity is frequently not respected and any decision about that work place is largely out of their hands and is made in the interests of profit maximization rather than their well being, they have the risk that the company will collapse leaving them penniless, will weasel out of providing them benefits or a pension assuming it even offers such things to begin with, whilst the worst thing likely to happen to a capitalist is that they'll have to join the workforce, if the state of being a worker is so terrible a "risk" that it entitles the risk taker to exploit the labour of others then how can you justify the continuation of a system that subjects the majority of human kind to such a fate. 3: the vast majority of start up businesses collapse due to under capitalisation (not enough money), as such the vast majority of successful business men weren't risking anything because they already had enough money to spare to comfortably support a business from the start. 4: wow you really love the taste of billionaire bootleather don't you, Jeff Bezos isn't gonna fuck you bro gro up.
After you've made a company and you sit back collecting divedens and do nothing then why do you deserve to be paid. Not sure why anyone can say yeah man, mcds workers deserve less than it takes to live becuase those rich people who bought shares took a risk and they deserve to get paid for the workers labor, they do nothing
'Thatcher's policies greatly benefitted my family in the 80's because of their businesses and property investments' 'I worked bloody hard to get where I am today' lmao

"I didn't take any handouts"
Man paid for all of his infrastructure, policing, schooling, healthcare, fire brigade, military and refused government pension contributions I guess?
Not pushing back on that is my biggest regret from this conversation.
Was he born in an NHS hospital? Did he go to public school? Does he drive on public roads or get a business loan?
People don't get to where they are on their own. They are helped and supported by a society.
Had to stop at there's no risk working in McDonald's compared to starting a company, living paycheck to paycheck in a situation where one unexpected cost could financially ruin you and having pretty much no job security so never really knowing whether you'll have a job and be able to eat or pay rent next month is a pretty fucking risky way to "live"
The WORST sect of the DW fandom going full Mask Off here. Thanks for exposing these 2 MrTardis
Obviously the lance guy is also very bad but my god the other bloke was insufferable.
Omg right the minute he started saying something nice about the Torries I knew he was a knob the Torries are bunch of rich snobs who would gladly see the poor and disabled be shot
The lance one is clearly just young and impressionable and I dont think is a lost cause like with the right talk im sure he could eventually turn more left
"old and fat people are dying of COVID well guess what? I have asthma"
- Lance, basically.
The way Will ignores the shitposting and just gets to the point is incredibly refreshing and funny to me
RTD was right!
Yes he was especially when you get twats like this
The most notable thing about this for me is that all of Sanc's "arguments" were attempts to intimidate, project power, or emotionally manipulate.
My favourite was 'I drive lots of cars'. So impressive!
Lance dropping out of the call was such a blessing, every time he open his mouth he vomits a nothing burger.
God these guys make my skin crawl. Superb stuff MrTARDIS, please do more of this sort of stuff my friend
Well done mate. You were cool, calm and collected throughout this debate and a real example of how to do it.
The seven deadly sins:
Pride, Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Wrath, Sloth and GREED
Man doesn’t even know the book he follows
The world would be a much nicer place if some people actually… you know… read and followed the book they claimed to hold so dear
Sanctuary of Geeks is a gammon confirmed - hats off to you for not groaning and rolling your eyes with some of the stuff he came out with.
For him excitement means having right to harass people who were not born as rich as him.
I get the feeling he hasn’t spent a second living in the real world. The kid also doesn’t know a thing about the aids crisis
Why do all conservatives think socialism means communism?
Socialism and communism are different, it just happens that most communists are socialists at first.
I mean, look at his pseudonym: Sanctuary of [this] Geek's, not Sanctuary of Geeks.
That works two ways you need to realise you don't have the same life as him you need to respect his opinion as well
@@ANGEL_BOB_YT And he should respect others, which he clearly doesn't.
Let’s hope it’s the start of him seeing he’s on the wrong path
@@iain9757 nah he’ll just keep digging himself deeper. Ego is a hell of a drug.
I think you meant "Misinformation".
@@carlosalmonacid8958 yeah, their information is full of crap 😂
Unfortunately what Lance said to Tharries is a viewpoint shared by a hell of a lot of the US population.
I found that hard to watch. Congratulations, comrade, for actually debating with them. You are a better man than I.
Why do we do your head in?
@@generalj216 because your deluded ideas have cost many lives over the centuries.
@@cuedotfilms4427 you probably don’t know the first thing about the wars and crusades I assume you’re referring to.
@@cuedotfilms4427 also would you say anything like that to a Muslim or a Jew maybe?
@@generalj216 of course.
I was a BA Christian for almost 20 years. I know exactly what it's all about.
Can you really have a structured and intelligent debate with a man who refuses to get the vaccine
Wow I genuinely cannot believe what im hearing, they have zero empathy and dont try to get any
Their arguments where so disingenuous. It was just strawman after strawman. I rolled my eyes at their response to you being a Socialist.
Have you heard the news about Bernard Cribbins?
RIP to a legend and great actor
Hes made posts about it on Twitter
God they were unbearable, I'm definitely becoming more left wing
6:18 - This is the moment you're here for, guys. Trilbee's face is like 'Oh, it's gonna be one of THOSE discussions then'
Mr. Tardis, you are a saint attempting to debate these opinionated rather stupid people
7:32 this video just came up on my home page, I’ve got to this time stamp and am already feeling the rage burn within me, you are a better person than I, MrTardis.
The fact Lance looks, talks and has almost the same views as Ben Shapiro didn’t surprise me.
Conservatives always have a similar appearance
they came from the same mouldy egg
You tore them apart and it's very satisfying seeing them back pedal on their ridiculous narratives.
Lance and Sanctuary are just despicable people.
Rip Bernard Cribbins 💔😢🌌🌠
I'm getting peirs morgan vibes from sanctuary of geeks
06:14 to 06:27 is amazing!!! 👍👍 Mr. Tardis
Wasn't this basically what Alan B'Stard said in The New Statesman?
Yeah, as a joke, to make fun of Conservatives, and here is this Lance fella being the literal embodiment of that joke.
Dude, Sanctuary of geeks channel got suspended! And his Twitter is off too!
It's hard to make out, but around 6:08 when MrT quotes Boris Johnson's, "Let the bodies pile high in their thousands" (which is a paraphrase of Bob Page, the frickin' villain in Deus Ex, BTW), SoG literally says, "Yeah, what's the problem with that?" :|
The way he froze after you said many people die during pregnancy was amazing. Man alive he's a silly man. Great debate man.
Sanctuary of geeks is actually brain-dead
The part where mr. of Geeks is mad that dude thanked the hospital for the delivery of his babies, and you had to explain that medical care is important? for births?? and many people die without it
launched my sides into orbit
"I don't give a sh!t about beyond 1989"
Ugh, I hate him already.
Is sanctuary of geeks learning English from Andrew Tate.
MrTardis a absolutely destoryed them🤣
Complain about left wing bbc but they did absolutely everything in their power to get Boris into power lol
Some people are just thick thick thickety thick-face from thick-town, Thickania. And so’s their dad.
I’m only a few minutes in and wow LanceVideos is exactly why I’m very against americans speaking on uk politics
I don’t want to just be straight up racist but I don’t understand why any of us should care about anything an American has to say about DW. It’s not made for them
@@iain9757 I’m a Brit but I find Doctor Who can be enjoyed by anyone.
Sorry can’t watch the whole thing you have far more patience than I have and you are 1 million times politer than I would’ve been.

'Thatcher's policies greatly benefitted my family in the 80's because of their businesses and property investments'
'I worked bloody hard to get where I am today'
