@@mikelibon Ah, mqb toolbox doesn't have functions to activate features like carplay / AA if they weren't included from factory as they're protected by (paid for) SWaP codes.

Toolbox doesn't need the SD card to run, so yes you can take it out for most things. However some operations save backup or log files to SD, or expect to read files from SD, so sometimes it'll need to be available

I've never used the images / skinning in it, I use it to provide a clean interface for installing patches like github.com/jilleb/mib2-toolbox/pull/189 and making it easier to develop on the unit github.com/jilleb/mib2-toolbox/wiki/SSH-Login I don't have MIB1 so don't know much about that

There is some functionality to adjust navigation country in the customisation/coding menu, although I'm not sure if that will be enough - it might be though!
Thanks anyway for replying, the CID lock for sd is a way of updating navigation maps from a third party sd card without putting the original one The option was in the old release of toolbox unfortunately it was removed
@@khaledCA oh that, the mib high units don't have cid lock I believe (this toolbox is only for high) it's only the mib std ones that have maps on cid locked SD. I do know some SD cards can be patched to change their CID to match what the mib wants. I don't remember which brand SD card that works on though.

MIB2 High and MIBHigh 2.5 versions both work with the toolbox

MQB toolbox is different to obdeleven, they do different things. I don't know if either can enable voice commands sorry.

Please be remind do not update the firmware if head unit has patched, otherwise you will lost the SWaP code.
