Why Osasuna is a Model Club: Modern Success Through Tradition
Вставка
- Опубліковано 28 тра 2024
- CA Osasuna is a club that is managing to find modern success in a very competitive LaLiga, while sticking to their traditional values. All of the magic of football that was once commonplace has seemingly faded away, but not at Osasuna. A focus on promoting from their academy, allowing the voices of supporters to be heard through their membership model, and a ferocious loyalty to their supporters and staff. All of which can be found in Pamplona’s CA Osasuna, where their traditional approach has brought them success in the modern game.

Is it a just a coincidence that all four Copa Del Rey semi-finalists this season are the only 4 professional fan-owned clubs in Spain.
probably its just a coincidence , yes
Yes it is just a coincidence.
Si, una coincidencia, sobre todo por Osasuna que no es un asiduo como los otros dos
Es una coincidencia, sobre todo Osasuna no es un asiduo en semifinales como los otros dos
and 3 of them are the only teams that have never been relegated from LaLiga
Osasuna may not have the money and prestige of Barcelona and Real Madrid but they still have a great fan connection regardless of what the club go through.
Real and barca have next to no fan connection its all buy our stuff wr want profit, clubs like Betis Osasuna and Bilbao actually represent what their communites stand for and have much better stadium atmospheres due to the sheer love from the fans to the team and vise versa
Barcelona have money? 😂
Belize central america I'm from and I'm a Real Madrid fan but i agree totally !!

It is said that "OSASUNA NEVER GIVES UP". Greetings from a Real Sociedad supporter. Gora Osasuna!
GORA OSASUNA!!
As a Barca Fan, I respect Osasuna and their fans.
while my club Southampton are sinking to the championship, i'll live vicariously thru the successes of Osasuna to make myself feel better
Adrian, your channel is getting better and better. Congratulations and many thanks for the 'pedagogical' content.
Osasuna was a club that I started to follow back when “el Vasco” Aguirre became manager. He took the club down to Mexico for preseason matches, and that actually generated a small following for the club in my parent’s home state of Nayarit, Mexico. I believe a local club plays under the name of Osasuna.
from a Real Madrid fan, Osasuna nunca se rinde!
Man Adrian I love watching osasuna
Chimy Avila came a long way after his leg injuries.
His attitude to football is the kind I like.
Soany talented Argentine players like him never get that call
I remember after getting back from the first one, he had another one on the other leg, everyone thought his career was over
@@kyomnomyakubu6187 yes,I remember.
I think the second injury was even worse
It's amazing how far he has come. even playing in a wide position now but still scoring important goals
And into the Copa del Rey final
As we say here in Spain: "Osasuna nunca se rinde", Osasuna never gives up. It's impossible to not love this team and we love them in all the country. In my opinion they represent what football should be, not a way to create a multi-million dollar brand, but a way to unite people through competition.
Literalmente nadie dice eso en serio😭😭

I'm a huge football fan and I played a lot as a kid. When I was young I went one year to the Osasuna football camp and another to the Real Madrid football camp. Both were great, but I can truly say that in Pamplona, you could feel that family-like link between the supporters, the young players, the old players and the club. Unmatchable vibes, and I am so proud they are fighting for the copa del rey, with the other 3 member-owned clubs of the country.
Fantastic video, was great to get to know Osasuna. Will be cheering for them to make the Conference League now!
Been looking for a La Liga club to support outside of the usual suspects. Osasuna might just be exactly what I'm looking for
They might not be great or big but good club we'll that's what I think.
Very cool video. I've managed Osasuna a couple times in FM because their unique nature is a fun challenge. Very cool to hear them embrace it publicly.
From Pamplona ... thank you , great report from Rabona TV, everyone here is proud of our Osasuna club
Being a Barça supporter i have to always respect basque teams. Real sociedad being one of the best academies and an ucl club, athletic and osasuna being fan owned and a great net positivity in the society
Been loosely following Osasuna since 2018. Still was extremely happy when they got their automatic promotion to La Liga and eventually came out as Champions of the 2nd division.
Osasuna never gives Up!👏👏👏 Osasuna nunca se rinde!
Adrian great video. Please keep the Osasuna content coming!
Amazing Video, per usual. So glad clubs are noticing you and inviting you to collaborate. This is awesome. Congrats, Adrian!
Thank you buddy, greatly appreciated!
As a longlife Osasuna supporter, this made me proud, thanks truly man
Adrian, you're videos are always so well researched, thorough, and captivating! I want you to know that every upload truly improves my day, keep it up!
Thanks Trae!
really enjoy videos like this. with the focus on the grassroots of smaller clubs with tons of personality. great video once again.
Knowing how osasuna supporters are, if they watch this video... Adrian you can bet your ass you are doing the honour kick-off
Man, this channel... Adrian, you've outdone yourself for the past few months... thank you for all the content and please remember to take a break whenever you can. :)
A lot of Argentinian clubs operate this way as well. It's beautiful to see and I hope these teams stay this way
OSASUNA NUNCA SE RINDE!!!
Great video as always Adrian! I'd love to see a video on FC Nordsjælland, a young Danish club with a lot of similarities to CA Osasuna in many ways, also a bit of a football purists dream. Founded in 2003, the club is just 20 years old this year, but is looking to win their second Superliga title in their history, the first coming in 2012. The club is probably best known for two things, having the youngest first team in all of world football, with an average age of around 22 and only 6 or so players above the age of 23. Alongside that, their close relationship with the Right to Dream academies in Ghana and Egypt, especially the Academy in Accra which has produced players like Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana, who both got their professional debuts for FC Nordsjælland. The club has a very well defined philosophy which is ingrained every facet of the club and aims to have the first team consist of 50% Right to Dream academy graduates.
A foreign-owned club that is called "Football Club" in a non-English-speaking country should not be compared to a proper club like Osasuna. FC Nordsjaelland is pure plastic like too many Danish clubs. A well run club, but also just a soulless logistics hub for men who want to make a lot of profit on young players.
@@nummer3357 Comparing FC Nordsjælland to Osasuna was not a direct comparison, but to say that there are several similarities in the way the clubs are run. Both have a huge focus on their academies and a certain playing identity throughout every age group, with first team players often joining training sessions of the youth teams. When it comes to profiting off of young players, that could be said about 90% of all clubs in world football, the difference is that FC Nordsjælland is one of the very few teams who don't take advantage of the fact that African players often aren't as well represented by agents etc. which has lead to countless of players being screwed over contract-wise. FC Nordsjælland cares a lot about the ethics of things, despite their connections with the Etihad Group who bought the Right to Dream academies. Even in Denmark, a club like FC Midtjylland had a reputation for bringing young Africans to Europe long before FCN did so, but they often screwed the players over with contracts as well and it's even more common in many other countries.
@@PraiseTheRoof Well, as I said, a well run and professional organization, but soulless and far from being a proper football club like Osasuna.
@@nummer3357 The club isn't exactly soulless just because they don't have ultras. They've always marketed themselves as a family club but I remember multiple occasions at Farum Park (now Right to Dream Park) where there have been lots of soul. From Europa League qualifications over 10 years ago to the final game of the 2011/2012 season where the stadium got sold out for the first time, as FCN beat AC Horsens 3-0 and secured the title. If you were there like I was, or had seen the club develop, especially over the past 10 or so years, you'd see that the club has plenty of soul, just not the typical soul of ultras that is so romanticized.
@@PraiseTheRoof dont reply and waste ur energy to hater bro
Great video respect to Osasuna and fans 💪🇩🇰
You are the best and unbias football youtuber ever. It's not just about headlines, but what football is all about.
Thanks Adrian. That was a great effort. Aupa Osasuna!

Always wondered why Avila didn't move to a "bigger" club. Now i know lol
Adrian man your channel has been a major part in my love for football. This is another incredible banger I’m gonna share w everyone and watch 10 times. You have out done yourself again
Thanks Drew!
Great video for a great club!
Love the video. I’m a big fan of watching and hearing about mid table teams in leagues like LaLiga. Definitely underrepresented especially here in the US & Canada.
Love the video bro👍🏽💙
Amazing Work 💯
Always respect clubs who give local youth academy players a chance.

Aupa Osasuna. Great video!
Yo Adrian (rocky) Thanks for making this video! I learnt something new today :D
great video adrian. i like the style of these insightful videos. personal favorite is the roots of rivalry series, for sure
I have been an Osasuna fan since 1985 when I was dragged out of bed one Sunday afternoon nursing a tremendous hangover. I walked down the hill with some friends and it was love at first sight. Osasuna is so important to the people of Navarra...it is like their little brother and everyone makes an effort to look after it. I have seen ups and many downs but nobody ever boos the team when it is playing badly. I remember the cup final in 2005 when we lost narrowly to Betis, having probably deserved to win. As we walked out of the stadium, not one single sad face did I see. we were all proud to have been there with our team. I feel proud and honoured to be a small part of this amazing club. Goazen Gorriak!!
From Pamplona, thanks for the amazing video. GORA OSASUNA!!
Thanks for the video! Loved it! You should come round to Pamplona and whitness a game first hand. Such an experience! 😉
We need more videos like this
Great video would love to see more videos about other Spanish clubs besides the top 3

wonderful work as always adrian
Thank you Max.💏
Looking for clubs outside top 5 Leagues like that, we go to Croatian SuperSport HNL (1st tier) club HNK Hajduk Split
osasuna nunca se rinde¡¡¡¡¡
I’m a Barcelona fan first and foremost, but Osasuna have a special place in my heart. The love from the fans and the city is just so palpable. On their best day they can play the kind of football that makes you scratch your head in wonder of how it’s possible for a smaller club like them. I hope they can qualify for some European competition this season. They deserve to have the finances to compete regularly near the top
more of these please
Gora Osasuna💪🏼💪🏼
Some people thing football is always about winning but you need to understand that every club have their own ambition and it define by their fan
A similar video about Brighton would be awesome
I guess I have a Spanish team to root for now

Athletic Club is another one with traditional values that’s still competitive.
I never though someone will make a video about my hometown club
Yo igual. Se hace raro que un youtuber inglés esté hablando de nuestro equipo. XD
meanwhile every prem club has pimped themselves out to billionaires who treat the club like a playground with the only goal being lining their pockets.
This: a serious video
My head: A cat saying "Osasuna nunca se rinde" 🤠
Osasuna never gives up!
It will take some time but if they stick to their principles maybe in 5-10 years they could be a mainstay in European spots.
You should do a video about Benfica origins. It's a hot topic in Portugal with a faction claiming it was in 1904 and others claiming it was 1908. You're a águias supporter but you're also fair and can look at a topic with impartiality. I trust you to investigate and present your veridict eheh
Basque teams hit different. Bilbao, Osasuna, Sociedad
