    I would pack the bearing well without filling it like its going out of style. Im no engineer but I think that too much grease could create a hydraulic effect and push out the seals since they do go in so easily.

    That mount is $400-600 , I bought whole new drive shaft for $150 with the new mount and it is pretty easy to install and do the job the right way.

      Yeah but that stock bearing carrier is going to fail again whereas the vertex won’t.
      Still though where can you get a new OEM shaft for $150 in case I ever need one?

    question: if you put to much grease in there, will it not over heat ?

    Hi, question, I have a 05 Cayenne S and it makes a grinding noise when accelerating from idle position in the area of the drive shaft bearing support. Is that and indication that it needs replacement?
