Hopefully I will never learn if mine functions, but after riding 5K with it I can confirm that it is super comfortable, no reason to ride without it!

But I need to add that it would be better to see those tests at 50kmh plus maybe less mounting of the arms to the handlebars to have a more realistic picture ✅. Impact speed seemed quite low for out of town riders.

Hi, can you tell me a bit more about the detection time and the inflation time?
On the website you mention the detection times which are:
Detection time of the SDU sensor on the motorcycle fork: 31 ms (so with the fork sensor)
Detection time of the CDU sensor in the airbag vest: 62ms
Is my understanding correct that when you crash the total time for the system to be effective is 31ms or 62ms (not using the fork sensor) plus 55ms (inflation time)? So between 86 and 117ms for the vest to be ready and inflated?
Another question I have is the CE standard that this complies to? On the website it only seems to mention the IEC 62368-1 :2018 standard. Which seems to be a standard for the safety of electronic equipment not a standard that determines if the protection is sufficient. Can you shed some light on the protection of the airbag vest? Was testing done for the impact forces that are transmitted to the body? If so, what numbers did the residual impact forces come to?
    Thanks!

Does this mean that the tethered version would have failed to protect in these tests?

      Yes

@@sunnesonne Lmao no. The tether would do perfectly fine with specifically these. The body's movement alone would pull the tether with ease

Looks like the airbag should come down more in the front. It made me cringe when I saw that dummy slam down on his "Boys".
