I know right lol. I wish I could make them that quick, but from memory it was actually a fast set of cards to make, once they were designed, batching them out saved so much time.
You KNOW you had me at grey, my friend!! Still choosing that 'six block' as my favorite but after watching the entire video, that trio of Santas is taking second place! ALL fantastic! =]
My 5 yrs granddaughter and I loved watching you bring them all together. Louisa favourite was the 6 little squares and 3 Santa's. Mine were the 3 Santa's and both scene cards. Thanks for the wonderful ideas.
Some good ideas and helpful tips. My favourite is the rooftop Santa poking out of the chimey! The faux snow you added was a great finishing touch. I hope you continue with this series as I'm loving it!
I am so happy that you are enjoying this series I definitely have MORE on the way (once I return from Holiday) but if you can't wait til then check out my playlists from the previous years. I typically make about 6 videos for Christmas each year and all different themes and techniques. I hope you enjoy them!
WOW... how can I choose a favorite when they were all great! I have a set of stamps that I have been thinking of making into a shaker card. I love your creativity. This was a treat... I have been writing all day. Take care Therese...
I love your 5 cards with one set series…and I can’t pick a favourite they are all wonderful. I really like the simplicity of your scenes and shapes that don’t require lots of supplies! Brilliant!
Oh Therese, these cards are amazing! I’d give you 12 thumbs up if I could. Thank you so much for all the wonderful ideas for how to use this stamp set, it’s definitely going on my wish list. I don’t know that I can pick a favorite but I certainly love the chimney ones…then again the trio is awfully cute 🤷🏼. You certainly have an eye for creating wonderful cards 💕
Oh my, Therese, all your cards are way too fun! It's hard to choose a favorite because each one is so cute in its own way. Thank you for the great inspiration and design ideas!
These are so much fun! I love the graphic style one! Sooooo cute! That little bow by the sentiment is the perfect touch! I love the one with him making it down the chimney! Your fireplace is gorgeous!
@@tammyb6497 Wonderful idea! I have a Santa die that would be perfect! I might have to attempt that. My great nieces and nephews love it when I make them “swingers”. Lol
I really can't choose a card, they are all wonderful. Therese, you always make us think, I just must get everything together and take my time! Thanks for another great tutorial!!!
Love them all! However, I do love me a fun card so, I’d have to say Santa coming down the chimney, with dangling legs and dropped gifts. He must be near the end of his route and has had a few too many cookies and milk. 😂🤣😂
Love them all, but my favourites are the first three. I’m with you on the watercolour Cardstock. I like it to be true white, not cream. I have a stash of the Tim Holtz card which I really like. I’m off to have a look at that stamp set again. I found the images a bit creepy when I first saw them, but your cards have made we want to reconsider ❤️
Yes, there is something about 'sketchy' images that can look a bit funny when stamped as they have a lot of 'darkness' about them. But I like that this also automatically adds the shadows in the images. I think these images would look great white heat embossed on dark red cardstock, or even on dark grey (I was thinking about the too, I just ran out of time as I was packing to head off on holiday). I also like the Tim Holtz/Ranger watercolor cardstock, it's expensive but a nice white. But still not as 'white' as the one of I was using from Crafty Critta. Remind me to show you the comparison next time I am live. Hope you have a fabulous weekend, Hugs Tx
I have at least 1 cover plate die with circles cut out and never have used it. But I loved the idea of cutting squares and partial stamping in them! Maybe I’m the dumb one but I honestly never thought about that! I don’t have much in the way of characters or critters but a couple. It’s just that I always felt like I needed a set with just the right amount of characters or critters or the right size to do this. But seeing you do that I could do it with flowers or something. Brilliant! Sometimes the most simple things we forget. But I became a big die cut fan so I don’t stamp a lot of images. Also because of the marker thing I told you about. Did you like the ohuhu? Did you find the lack of colors for like flowers, pinks, roses, corals??
Yes, this technique works perfectly with flowers as well! And multiples of the one image is so much fun. It's like they are looking out different windows. You can even use die cuts! I am enjoying the ohuhu markers and you are right there is a lack of floral pinks in my set. Do you have the pastel ones... I think you said you did but I can't remember? I am on holiday visiting friends in the UK at the moment so I am not crafting at the moment. I am missing it terribly, but sometimes its good to have a little break.
@@lostinpaper I thought you’d agree on the gaps of colors they have. It’s too bad because they’re great markers. But corals, roses, pinks, they aren’t there or they’re unnatural colors. I’m so glad you’re having fun with friends! Everyone needs that. I haven’t been able to make a card for months! I’m so behind. I just started cutting plants down to prepare for winter and then I need to take yard decorations in, cut large tree branches with a chainsaw that were too big to cut when I trimmed all the trees this summer, refinish some stairs, etc… just too much. I’m disabled as well so I can only work 4 hours not 10 like I used to. I have an amputated leg and a badly deteriorated spine with many problems such as missing a joint so the vertebrae are rubbing together. I’m hoping to get thanksgiving cards done this year and Christmas! Idk if I’ll make it. And yes! I too miss it terribly! No I don’t have the pastel set, but something seems like they weren’t better. I think I saw another creator use them. But not 100% sure. Enjoy your little get away!
@@dizzinese Oh my, you are a Rockstar! I can't imagine doing all that in the gardens and I don't have any of the physical limitations that you do! The cards will come if you have time, I think we put a lot of pressure on ourselves to 'have to have' things done or made, but we still have to enjoy it, after all, it is our hobby and it's what we do to relax. It sounds like your garden is the priority right now with Winter on the way. I'm just happy that you can still enjoy our cardmaking community and hang out here until you have time to create.
Just fantastic cards!!! You did all those different cards in 30 minutes and I can’t make 1 card in less than 4 hours! You’re amazing!
I know right lol. I wish I could make them that quick, but from memory it was actually a fast set of cards to make, once they were designed, batching them out saved so much time.

You know I love a 6 block, but it was the 3 Santas that were my fave today... we'll have to agree to disagree about this my friend lol.
Wow! How creative! Santa coming down the chimney is so clever!
Thank you Tracy 🤗
I love the bits of Santa peaking out from chimney and fireplace! Beautiful water coloring as well.
Thank you so much Karen!

These are a lot of fun Therese and a good reminder that keeping it (relatively) simple can have big impact. I hope you are enjoying your holiday.
Having a lovely time with our friends, thank you so very much Tracey!
They are all fabulous, but the 3 Santas had me at Ho Ho Ho. Thanks for the inspiration Therese.
Thank you so very much x

You are so very sweet Teresa, I am so happy you enjoyed these card designs, they were certainly fun to make!
I really love the way you have used the one stamp set to create the 5 different cards. Would love it if you could do it with other stamp sets.
Thank you Edith! Will do!
Oh my, Therese, all your cards are way too fun! It's hard to choose a favorite because each one is so cute in its own way. Thank you for the great inspiration and design ideas!

This is a really nice stamp set and all of your cards are awesome! Wouldn’t it be fun to make Santa’s legs swing in the fireplace?! 😆🇨🇦
What a brilliant idea Tammy.... I may have to include that in an interactive card set lol.
@@tammyb6497 Wonderful idea! I have a Santa die that would be perfect! I might have to attempt that. My great nieces and nephews love it when I make them “swingers”. Lol

So glad you enjoyed this technique, I hope you give it a try!
