So how do you show honor to an MOG when you don't agree with many things he says ? Most pastors believe in paying tithes for instance and you don't believe in same. How do you show honor when there's this conflict?
@@bensonizuchukwu5996 . Yes, that is true. But you also have to understand that people see honor differently. If for instance you worship in a church that believes in tithe and you don't pay tithes, that can be seen as dishonor. It doesn't matter if you show respect to the pastor in other aspects.
It becomes dishonour when your spouse is operating in that office in church or whatever organisation and you happen to be a part of that organisation and address her as a house wife in the presence of other staff especially when he or she is in position of authority. Note especially when he or she is functioning in an office of authority at that moment but in this case pastoring. Keep your home relationship and address at that moment. Address the person Same as others. When the person comes down or drops that function it all goes back to normal. But I believe honour should exist everywhere both ways. Disrespect is not accepted at any point in time both ways.

I believe honour has nothing to do with perfection of the object of honour, even if a man of God is not sound in doctrine you can still honour him.

You can’t attract what you do not respect
What’s wrong calling your spouse by his/her name. Honouring comes from the heart in my opinion. I understand honour.
