Many thanks, I've been looking for "piano music chords and lyrics" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (should be on google have a look )? It is a good one off product for discovering how to play the piano like a pro minus the hard work. Ive heard some awesome things about it and my partner got amazing success with it.
I've seen a lot of other teachers have huge charts and everything and talk about "pivot chords" and I didn't understand a thing, since I'm not the greatest in music theory. But this really helped me understand how to transpose chords. Thank you so much 🙏
Thanks for this video I learned something today and it is quite simple to understand. For sheet music it is easy to transpose from F# to F, B to Bb and Db to D and Gb to G just by switching sharps and flats as the notes on the staff remain the same.
😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮😮 Simon as always you never cease to amaze - geez that was freakin SIMPLE!!! You’ve made clear in (7) mins what made me wonder for years!! THANK YOU BRO!!
Wonderful - I am very excited to find this - but, it is too fast for me. I need to write this all down, write down the notes, and look at the keys to see which key is which. Writing and looking at the screen at the same time is difficult, and I miss something. Repetition is really important - this is all NEW to me. I want to stay with this and learn it. I'll keep watching - and hope I can watch the first lesson until it is second nature. And I will be practicing for sure. Thank you.
Thank you! This is a super helpful channel. When playing chords in the same scale, can there be major and minor chords? That confuses me a bit. And do you have a video on how to create chord progressions? That's my biggest goal. Thanks again!
I have autism and this guy makes sense holy crap someone who gets it who clicks someone who's not full of s***finally someone I can relate that actually breaks down stuff and takes the time to explain and not just explain but show again
on transposing the key of c to G/ in the G scale I notice that there was a sharp sign on the D chord but their is no D sharp in the key of G/ will explain that
That's okay you can still learn just as much from the internet. You just need to make sure you aren't missing any important parts of playing such as scales and theory. What sort of troubles are you having with chord progressions? I am here to help :)
The experience is the key. How can i tell where to play the chords and bass (middle C.. or down/up). I play the guitar over the past 20 years And still dont know how to mimic the standard 12 keys chord progession into piano.
Sir, How to remember chord progression? I always used to forgot chord progression when I play keyboard . Actually I don't know the theory of chord progression. C G Am F= Sir, How G comes after C, Am after G and F after Am. Any formula is there to memories chord progression.
Robin Shyam just write in down on a paper if u can't memorize. And different placement of progression gives different feeling like C G Am F, i can change to Am F G C, Am F C G, F G C Am, C F G Am etc, u can add other chord inside to improved like F G Am, F G Em7 Am7 Dm G C etc
Many thanks, I have been researching "4 chord song chords" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Nonason Ranincoln Genie - (should be on google have a look )? It is an awesome one off product for discovering how to play the piano like a pro without the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my brother in law got great success with it.
You've demystified something which has scared me away from piano all of my life. Thank you!
You are blessed with two talents, playing and teaching. Great work.

What if you don’t know what key you need to transpose to? I need to play a song in a higher key to fit my voice but I don’t know what key that is
Can you elaborate more on transposing??
So helpful indeed
How do I know what key i should transpose down to?
Would this also work if I wanted to play a song that’s originally on guitar but want to play on piano?
Ok I was like WTH on the second progression , then I realized I was counting from the C instead of the G.... Duh ! Thanks !
on transposing the key of c to G/ in the G scale I notice that there was a sharp sign on the D chord but their is no D sharp in the key of G/ will explain that
Thank you

To choose which octave to play chords in you just need to use your ears!

Is this transpose?
😂😂😂 yea apparently
I understand why the 4th chord of f chord would be b but why b flat? That’s where you lost me
wat
I don't even understand.. 🤣🤣..
Same dude😂
Just use the transpose button!! 😌
The transpose button should be your worst enemy
@@Piano_Pigno it shouldn’t … it’s there for a reason !
Nope, you should learn to use manual chords instead transpose@@sammyg805
Try that on a grand piano
Mediocre
