Thank you for the explanation, it is so straight to the point that helps me understand the concept now. Now I can do for my finals better, well I hope so. But still thank you , you are life saver
1.Signalling molecule ie first messenger binds with G coupled transmembrane receptor. 2.Binding induces a conformational change in the receptor. 3.Conformational change in G coupled transmembrane receptor, effects a change in intermediary G protein attached to its intracellular end. 4.Alpha subunit of G protein let's go off its attached GDP and instead binds with GTP. 5.Alpha subunit gets activated moves along the length of the plasma membrane to reach a specific membrane phospholipase called Phospholipase C. 6.Phospholipase C gets activated travels along the membrane to reach its specific substrate PIP2 which is Phosphoinositol diphosphate (a particular phospholipid) 7.PLC cleaves PIP2 to produce IP3 ie Inositol tris phosphate and DAG(diacyl glycerol) 8.So in previous step secondary Messenger has been made... IP3 leaves membrane and goes to the Cytoplasm where it does its Thang! 😂
@@hussainbiology hopefully that's not sarcastic I actually just wrote down all the stuff.. I heard from ur video...for processing purposes. Hopefully u don't mind.
Dude seriously thank you so much! I usually understand this material right off the bat but my teacher made this seem so far out there complicated... anyways, thanks to you I’ll pass Biochem! :))
Thanks Anushka for appreciation..... U know , i am tired of saying to others who complain , that play it at 0.75x. But u are too smart to play it without complaining... Thanks
You can write the Calcium Pathway directly...... But point the bold points abt the role of Phospholipase C : 1.The Phospholipase c has an enzymatic activity to cleave Phospholipids. 2.The Phospholipase C has a role in Signalling Transduction Pathways like in IP3 Signalling pathway where the Phospholipase c cleaves the PIP2 to IP3 and DAG. 4.So another role of PLC is the production of secondary messengers in the form of IP3 and DAG. 5.IP3 drives IP3/Calcium Signalling Pathway. 6.DAG membrane bound messenger drives PKC mediated pathways. And after all these points you can illustrate the role of PLC in IP3 pathway
thank u sir it's such an amaizing explication but I have a question if u don't minde : who activate the PKc is it calcium-calmodulin complex or it is DAG who did it ? and thank u again
Thanks for appreciation....I am glad to know that it helps.... For your question i can say it is the increased concentration of DAG in the cell that Signals the activation of PKC and most of the Research papers still state that it is ambiguous ,how PKC is activated.... Thanks again....
Major Effect i can say is that when the Calmodulin gets activated by binding of Calcium ions then after that the conc of The complex increases which in turn activates many Kinases and Phosphatases im accordance with the pathway to be initiated.....hope u get some help....... Thanks again
That is mediated through VEGF-A ..... VEGF-A is received by VEGFr2 receptor on cell which then activates on dimerization. And in the next step PLC gamma is activated which then drives formation and activation of IP3 . Then IP3 does same what is shown in this pathway ( calcium release) Which finally aids in Angiogenesis.
Explained this better than my professor!!!

4.Alpha subunit of G protein let's go off its attached GDP and instead binds with GTP.
5.Alpha subunit gets activated moves along the length of the plasma membrane to reach a specific membrane phospholipase called Phospholipase C.
6.Phospholipase C gets activated travels along the membrane to reach its specific substrate PIP2 which is Phosphoinositol diphosphate (a particular phospholipid)
7.PLC cleaves PIP2 to produce IP3 ie Inositol tris phosphate and DAG(diacyl glycerol)

So I just want to know for a last time 😅😅what is the major effect of high concentration of calcium-calmodulin inside the cells ????

Sir what is angiogenesis pathway in pl3 ? reply me , i have exame after 2 days
That is mediated through VEGF-A .....
VEGF-A is received by VEGFr2 receptor on cell which then activates on dimerization.
And in the next step PLC gamma is activated which then drives formation and activation of IP3 .
Then IP3 does same what is shown in this pathway ( calcium release)
Which finally aids in Angiogenesis.
What is IPC? Is it Interferon producing cell?
Such a good video
