Gretsch USA Custom vs Ludwig Classic Maple - Part 1: High Tuning

I recorded these two drum sets I have to see how they compare, I tried to tune them as similar as possible (I did not get the bass drums close enough). They both have Remo Coated Ambassador heads on the Toms (factory resonant heads), Remo Coated Powerstroke 3 on the bass drums with a felt strip (original front heads on the bass drum with the logos), The two snare drums are very different, I do have the matching snare for the Gretsch kit, but for the Ludwig kit I used a Ludwig Pioneer snare from 1965, they both have Remo Coated Ambassador X heads on the top.
Gretsch specs: (Gretsch USA Custom Limited Edition Ribbon Mahogany 2014)
6-ply maple/gum shells but the outer layer is a mahogany veneer
30-degree bearing edges
die cast hoops
