This seems to be really interesting, A decade ago I tested Ableton Live on a Mac but (sorry) I was not able to become familiar with it while other DAWs felt more intuitive to me. But after watching this demo I think I should give Ableton Note a try. 🤔

As an Ableton live user, this app has been intriguing me for a while. My question is though, what are the advantages of this app over another app like Korg Gadget?
Yes, Note has Ableton Cloud, but you can only sync 5 songs at a time. But you can also upload the same way Gadget uploads to Ableton (which I’ve done many times flawlessly). So that point is moot.
Both can add effects but Gadget has built in drum grooves to use as a starting point.
The only advantage I can see is price. Note is much cheaper, but Gadget has so many better sounds. Again, for a price. But I already spent the money.
I would like to get it, but I can’t see spending the money for something I “already have.” Can anyone convince me to buy it?
Thank you Doug for your wonderful channel and thank you everyone in advance.

It’s an app I don’t have (yet) but I always see it in the top 10 iOS downloads. Intrigued I watch here.
Hi my friend Doug. Always great to hear your voice over these demos!

This is actually really cool, I like the work flow. Auv3 would be nice but the built in sounds are decent. And I got Ableton 12 lite in the process.

I like the sounds, and that your project can be exported to desktop Ableton... but I just want a full solution on mobile. This feels half-baked. like a cross between Gadget and maybe Koala... but not as intuitive as either.
