Interesting, that's exactly what happened when the labour ardern govt was in, in NZ. UK needs to abolish the first past the post to get a better govt for the people.

Exactly. They have been given avenues and in some cases actual material and informational help from NGO's to come to Europe and the UK. This is very clear, undeniable if you look at Ireland right now, 2024, to an extent so visible, so overtly crushing the Irish people that MSM are silent about it, or are calling the Irish he usual names (ray-cist, etc.).
The end result is all countries having been so disrupted by so many different races or nationalities that each country has lost its identity, culture, safety and actual good will towards anyone entering their country with little to offer but eager to take all advantages. A nightmare vision but it's happening all over.

We have more people than the availability of jobs. This is insanity.
Yes but these people that come will work for peanuts. I remember going to Wickes and there were huge amounts of what looked to be Eastern Europeans in the car park. I asked, being nosy, what are you all doing here. I thought Wickes had been evacuated. One told me they were waiting for jobs. Then a van pulled up and someone said plumbers, and a couple of guys got in the van. I asked another what they were paid and he said usually £5 per hour depending on the job. So its slave labour. It shouldn't be allowed but when you report it you get ignored. They go on about the horrors of the historical African Slave Trade and ignore modern day slavery.

I will tell you how it's going the British tax payments off all the pensioner who have paid now they have had their heating taking away and all these coming over on boats and get put up in Hotels ect bloody upsetting 😡

Cheap labour, cheap workmanship. I fear substandard workmanship and buildings falling down.
It is a numbers game as in keeping gdp up. Every extra £ made will make it look superficially they are doing a good job but gdp per capita is going down. We are getting poorer individually but overall it appears that the uk is still a ‘rich’ country.

It has to be something way more sinister than that. In the US they are putting immigrants in very expensive hotels, while closing them to the public, so cheap labour makes no sense. They intend to use them for something else...and are willing to pay big money for that.

They’re not here to work only to live off us, how can people who can’t read or write in their own language be of any good to any western country.

@@sarahholmes5585 I’ve spent much of my life moving around the U.K. and abroad so yes, I do know how strenuous it can be! I was pointing out that there now seems just about nowhere on earth which is safe to move to. Or Russia. Yes, that sounds odd but recently Putin opened its borders to Western and other people with traditional Christian values. Few people seem to realise that Russia has returned to being an Orthodox Christian country and even Putin attends church.
Ooops, somehow a section of my previous reply got missed out. I suggested going to the Falklands in spite of Argentina. It’s cold. It but at least it’s a long way from all those coming Nukes!
