👴 Old Composer Reactions 🤘
Lindsey expresses all of her music through dance in her live concerts. That's one of the things that set her apart in her craft. She wants the audience to experience her art with more than just her standing and playing. She puts a lot of the stage and clothes designing, choreography with her dancers and does all the editing on her videos.
When she was on America's Got Talent she was playing while dancing and made it through to the Quarter Finals before Piers Morgan gave her the red X. Her told her that she was not untalented but she would never get away with flying through the air and playing among some other nasty comments back in 2010. She worked on her craft and has since then been asked back to AGT as a guest performer and mentor to others twice. Please react to "Between Twilight" or "Artemis" (album title) from the same album as "Sleep Walking". BTW, Great reaction and break down!
"Between Twilight" Behind The Scenes.... ua-cam.com/video/oWY44CDtvpg/v-deo.html
Lindsey was actually the first artist I became a proper fan of. Before I discovered her in late 2012 I just listened to whatever was on the radio at the time. I was 14 back then. And in 2019, after seven years of being a fan, I was finally able to see her live. What an amazing experience that was! Absolutely worth the wait.
Thank you for doing this reaction, it reminded me that I should go back and listen to her music again. Now, if you also did a video on Parov Stelar, you'd have done both of the big musical heroes of my teenage years.
You're right about her performing. I have seen in concert three times now and she puts on an amazing show. High energy from start to finish. An older one of hers I would love a react to would be Transcendence (orchestra version) and a few of her newer songs from this same album, Artemis, Til The Light Goes Out and Between Twilight. I really enjoy your breakdowns, looking forward to more Lindsey reacts!
I love her style of blending types of music. Followed her carer on UA-cam for alot of years. From back when it was her versions of tracks from games and tv to releasing her own music. Your going to send me down the rabbit hole again ;)
It is a wonderful rabbit hole to fall down ❤
A few of my favorite tracks of hers are of course, Sleepwalking.
Some others are; Shatter Me, We Are Giants, Roundtable Rival, Masquerade, Stars Align, Moontrance and Heist
Lindsey toured with Amy Lee and they have done a few songs together, one with poor audio where Amy is dressed in a wookie costume, I forget which song. Her "Master Of Tides" was done live in Las Vegas. She does almost everything you see in the video herself. This video didn't begin to show off how good a dancer she is, usually while playing the violin. She also did a song called "Shatter Me" with Lzzy Hale of Halestorm.
The song "Shatter Me" was the song that Amy Lee sang on for the last show of the tour when Amy came out to sing while wearing a Chewbacca costume. Originally, Lindsey wrote that song for Amy Lee, but Amy couldn't do it because she was expecting her baby at the time.
@@wallydwulat6931 Thanks.
"World" suggestions: 🤓
*Shireen* - "So Human of You" (ua-cam.com/video/dNeTflipN6w/v-deo.html)
*Yossi Sassi & the Oriental Rock Orchestra* - "Reveal" (ua-cam.com/video/oPxHHHpvBR0/v-deo.html)
*The Comet is Coming* - "Blood of the Past" (ua-cam.com/video/c8UWZRSg_Lg/v-deo.html)
I can't say I'm a massive fan of Lindsey but the cover she made with Pentatonix of "Radioactive" is just stellar
Hey Geebz. I think she has a history in dance as well. Her video's are a beautiful blend of dance and music. She is amazing and has inspired so many to take up the violin. Lovely breakdown.
Growing up she had to choose between dance and violin so she chose violin. A lot of it is self taught but she also came in 2nd on Dancing With the Stars some years back and her dancing really grew from being on there.
Hello, thank you for the video. I advise you to make, if you haven't done it yet, a reaction to the wonderful young singer Diana Ankudinova. This girl will surprise you with her artistry and rare timbre of voice. She has covers of famous songs, and also performs her own songs.
Get ready for new Dimash!!!! Ava marie (tear jerker) and Stranger. Igor made incredible arrangements!!
Over the weekend we lost one of the pioneers of early modern music, and one of the first inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Don Everly. Don and his brother Phil, who passed in 2014, formed the Everly Brothers. They influenced the Beatles, The Beach Boys, Simon and Garfunkel and many others with their harmonies and musical style. Their music was a huge influence on me and my brother, we bought every record as soon as it was released.
It would seem fitting if you could decompose one of their tunes. Thanks.
I really enjoy your decomposition, I have learned so much since I started watching your channel. I find myself appreciating new music (to me) for the first time in years, as well as hearing my old favourites with new ears. I count the bars to the first hook, count the repetitions, I can follow the beat per bar in music like Tool, which I have always loved, but I now have both a better understanding of why I love the music and a greater appreciation of the work that has gone into the music.
I have a piece for your World music which I will post the link in this reply box below. Very heavy, history related (as all their music is) and I’m curious to see if what I think I am now hearing, like a hook, how tension is built and resolved, and how the flavour of the vocalisations adds to the mood of the song.
Great reaction again. I find whenever you close your eyes to listen more intently, I try to hear what I think caught your attention. When you move your hands, I immediately pick up the notes you are alluding to, when you lift your head there is a a build up to, or a crescendo. And then when you stop the playback and talk about what you are reacting to, I had correctly picked up on a lot of the things you mention. You really have changed the way I hear music and because of that, I get so much more enjoyment from listening.
Awesome work. Cheers.

This is the official music video. If the link doesn’t work just type in: Sabaton attack of the dead
This will bring up the official vid in the list. I chose this version because you’ve asked for produced tracks rather than live. This looks live but is actually the production recording as far as I can tell.
ua-cam.com/video/ZCCSMhQsey8/v-deo.html
This link is Sabaton history, where they talk about the battle at Ozwervitz . I’m sure I spelt that wrong.
Stirling is always fabulous! Oh... You should start to prepare yourself, Dimash just released on YT an Ave Maria "cover"... Yeah... prepare yourself... not sure you're ready for this lol.
Repeating an older comment:
Your videos are great! Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Could you perhaps find any time for a decomposition of Genesis? I was thinking I Know What I Like, Suppers Ready, Firth of the Fifth, Dancing with The Moonlit Knight... Pretty much anything before Phill Collins lol
Steely Dan maybe might be interesting also (Deacon Blues) .. any way, just suggestions, thanks for the videos!!
Oh i didnt realize you had reacted to Lindsey sweet
Dios te ama 🇨🇴🙏 bendiciones 🙏🙏
For future breakdowns, can I suggest Scourge of the Furies from Hades by Darren Korb? Also perhaps Two Planets Approach the Roche Limit, from Kirby and the Forgotten Land (the version uploaded to JOE VGM’s channel)?
please do more Lindsey Stirling videos!! I'm a music student majoring in composition and I would love to hear your insights on her music!
Hey Geebz, would love to see your thoughts on Christopher Tin's music. He has composed the title tracks for some of the Civilization video games, and they are some very powerful pieces of work. Particularly Sogno Di Volare, easily one of my favourite pieces. Thanks for your content man, love your work!
We hope you react to the new Dimash song Stranger on his website.
Hey its me again, fan from the metal channel. Going to start posting this all over this channel feels annoying but its for the the algorithm. Please check out Hiatus Kaiyote they are from Australia (RIP) . One of my favs is "Dr. Jeykll" but their whole discog is epic :)
Lindsey is very talented. I came across her 9 years ago with her video & song called Crystallize. The visual is stunning, filmed in what appears to be snow and ice towering over her as she performs her violin magic, weaving in and out of the openings in the ice.
Here's the link for your viewing and listening pleasure.
