I've been on this journey with you since you were a student and doing vlogs going to Julliard. I am a classical enthusiast and on the board of a local symphony. For me, it was following your life and what it was like to live in NY and what it takes to progress to being a professional pianist. I have also attended your dreamstage performances and love watching your other ones - but the thing that draws me is the human element of connecting with you. A person could listen to lots of classical performances but you have followers because we are interested in your journey on a human level. I went to conservatory and don 't need to be lured to classical music. Usually I find the Q&A's repetitive with questions mostly for those new to you and classical music. It was nice to hear some different questions; I stayed for the whole thing. Maybe some different level vids not only for those new to classical music but for experienced concert goers/musicians as well.
Honestly, being on patreon and getting early access to video and, one time in particular, helping you setup for one of your first concerts from your apartment made me feel like Iwas helping you. Hi Tiffany. I can 1000% confirm that you are succeeding in your goal to bridge the gap you spoke about. I am a 32 year old lawyer (prosecutor) living and working in Gibraltar 🇬🇮 and have never really felt enjoyment of classical music. I used to play piano when I was in my teens and completed my RBSM Grade 6 ( so you can say I was on that long road to becoming a decent pianist) however when I decided to pursue law and go to university I abandoned my piano studies and had no piano at university on which to play regularly. I lost (or perhaps, forgot) my love of the piano. Now, more than 14 years later I have started to play again because I have felt truly inspired by YOU and your love for music. And, surprisingly, I have even developed an appreciation for and enjoyment of classical music! I enjoy hearing about the styles of different composers and might even venture into learning a few simple pieces....once I practice my scales that is...😉. Musicians having patrons is hardly a new concept. JS Bach had Prince Leopold and Domenico Scarlatti had Marquis de Fontes which allowed them to focus full-time on their music and not have to take on other jobs to make a living. Patreon is an awesome way for all of us to support dedicated classical musicians like Tiffany. Just imagine twenty years from now looking back at Tiffany's flourishing career as a classical musician and being able to say that you were able to support her in her early days through Patreon. I always love music and dream to be a musician myself, but reality gets in the way. For Context: I did not ask that question because "I think that you should stop" but i asked that cause I wanted to know if you have already gone through the phase of burning out from making content, burning out from the algorithm and just other factors that makes you want to quit. Obviously, I am happy that the thought of quitting did not cross your mind and I am also happy that you are able to handle and overcome the stress. From the first time that I have watched you (2 or 3 years ago i can't clearly remember), you changed my perspective on Classical Musicians, you made me appreciate and love classical music deeper than it was. Thank you so much for saying to listen to yourself. It happened to me at the beginning of this week. I am usually never afraid to work on a piece that it's difficult for me. Usually I stop and work on a piece that is easy and fun to play, but this time I just got fed up. It's just hard at some times to tell yourself to keep striving and that you can do it. Especially in this weird period, where we don't know when it will all end, we all get fed up (and I feel lucky, I have a job that I love, I am staying in a nice house, with family and a piano... It just reminds us that we're human. Thanks for all your contents, that's why I related so much and decided to support on patreon. I cannot wait for the album and more concerts, and fell luck that thanks to technology we can listen to you and your music from all around the world. I feel the pain of not knowing when I’ll ever be able to perform live in front of an audience again, but the joy of being able to play for a worldwide audience which is not possible in an actual in-person setting! I've been open about some of my mental health problems, (depression, anxiety, etc.) One thing I'd like to mention about that here is that you, along with your music have helped some of us tremendously in that department, although you might not know it while performing, and even practicing. It's incredibly difficult in this day to get the "right kind of help", but we can find it in some of the most mysterous places. I have said it before, and will say it again: Music saves lives, literally. With that said, we need to make sure our musicians are also healthy. You are brave and incredibly strong for bringing your mental health to light, but you also motivate me to do the same.

(I learned that recently from one of my followers on Insta!) 2) 4:24 I truly hope that livestreamed concerts are here to stay. Internet / Social Media has become a giant virtual concert hall with too many opportunities to pass. Look at us fans here: We are from all around the world, and love to partake Tiffany's concerts.... but who of us can travel to Germany or the NE-U.S. where she performs most?? And what about concert goers who miss the "real" concert because tickets are sold out? Besides, it would be an additional source of revenue for everyone involved in a concert as the paying audience would multiply by 10 or so... I hear you with the you tube algorithm. I have been watching your videos for a while and really enjoy them and I think they really help, especially if i need a bit of motivation to practice piano. To go back to the algorithm i started my channel a few months ago doing paint pouring and it's so difficult to get people to watch and subscribe. And because it is also personal to you your art it can be difficult to process, so yes i can feel your pain with the algorithm. You do bring joy and inspiration to so many people Tiffany and your videos are great lets hope the algorithm gods are always in your favour :)
You have certainly worked with some very professional people in the industry of piano recitals, but remain grounded. Imho Patreon is a good possibility to support musicians (and otherwise severely affected people) during these times. I personally prefer to pay smaller amounts to a number of people but (at least for the timebeing) mostly unconditional and constant, so it's not so much a roller coaster for the people who depend on Patreon income for now. Small contributions also add up!

Your piano unboxing vlog was the first one that caught my attention on youtube. After watching it, I was curious to see how you play. I soon realized that I liked everything you played. Your expressive playing gave me a lot more than what classical music has given me so far.
I sent a message to my 16-year-old niece who is making a good effort on the piano, saying that I found a musical diamond. To my surprise he replied that he had been following you for two years.
Without hesitation I became your new follower on YT, IG and FB. First, because I found a new sound and I was impressed by the precision and clarity of your playing. Second, because I wanted to be sure that my niece followed healthy standards. And I am now sure she did. We often talk about you and I draw her attention to the hard work you do and all your efforts to reach perfection. Yes, I think you are a brilliant and very much promising musician, but you are also an inspiration and a great example for young people.
Day by day I watched all your videos and vlogs. What joyful times I had all those months of the pandemic disaster with your music!!! How close all your videos and vlogs have brought you to us! I was also impressed that, despite your achievements, you were not arrogant at all and never failed to express your gratitude and thanks for any kind of support you received from your followers.

Hi Tiffany. I can 1000% confirm that you are succeeding in your goal to bridge the gap you spoke about. I am a 32 year old lawyer (prosecutor) living and working in Gibraltar 🇬🇮 and have never really felt enjoyment of classical music. I used to play piano when I was in my teens and completed my RBSM Grade 6 ( so you can say I was on that long road to becoming a decent pianist) however when I decided to pursue law and go to university I abandoned my piano studies and had no piano at university on which to play regularly. I lost (or perhaps, forgot) my love of the piano. Now, more than 14 years later I have started to play again because I have felt truly inspired by YOU and your love for music. And, surprisingly, I have even developed an appreciation for and enjoyment of classical music! I enjoy hearing about the styles of different composers and might even venture into learning a few simple pieces....once I practice my scales that is...😉. So yes Tiffany, thank you for igniting an appreciation in me for classical music and helping me find my love for piano once again. I look forward to learning more from your future videos

Musicians having patrons is hardly a new concept. JS Bach had Prince Leopold and Domenico Scarlatti had Marquis de Fontes which allowed them to focus full-time on their music and not have to take on other jobs to make a living. Patreon is an awesome way for all of us to support dedicated classical musicians like Tiffany. Just imagine twenty years from now looking back at Tiffany's flourishing career as a classical musician and being able to say that you were able to support her in her early days through Patreon. What a privilege! I'm glad my little contribution helps her take risks and move on in her concertizing career during Covid.

For Context: I did not ask that question because "I think that you should stop" but i asked that cause I wanted to know if you have already gone through the phase of burning out from making content, burning out from the algorithm and just other factors that makes you want to quit. Obviously, I am happy that the thought of quitting did not cross your mind and I am also happy that you are able to handle and overcome the stress. From the first time that I have watched you (2 or 3 years ago i can't clearly remember), you changed my perspective on Classical Musicians, you made me appreciate and love classical music deeper than it was. It happened to me at the beginning of this week. I am usually never afraid to work on a piece that it's difficult for me. Usually I stop and work on a piece that is easy and fun to play, but this time I just got fed up. It's just hard at some times to tell yourself to keep striving and that you can do it. Especially in this weird period, where we don't know when it will all end, we all get fed up (and I feel lucky, I have a job that I love, I am staying in a nice house, with family and a piano...
It just reminds us that we're human. Thanks for all your contents, that's why I related so much and decided to support on patreon.

I've enjoyed your performances from when you were a kid up until every one of your most recent content and even then i am never less thrilled when you put on something new! It’s very nice to hear these because I enjoy hearing from a fellow pianist about their experience with being a classical musician! I feel the pain of not knowing when I’ll ever be able to perform live in front of an audience again, but the joy of being able to play for a worldwide audience which is not possible in an actual in-person setting! These times are very unprecedented and unpredictable, and we all wish this didn’t go on for as long as it did, but it is what it is👍❤️

I've been open about some of my mental health problems, (depression, anxiety, etc.) One thing I'd like to mention about that here is that you, along with your music have helped some of us tremendously in that department, although you might not know it while performing, and even practicing. It's incredibly difficult in this day to get the "right kind of help", but we can find it in some of the most mysterous places. I have said it before, and will say it again: Music saves lives, literally. With that said, we need to make sure our musicians are also healthy. You are brave and incredibly strong for bringing your mental health to light, but you also motivate me to do the same.

Those are BIG NEWS! Two albums in the making! The more people join the Patreon community to support your projects the sooner we all will enjoy what has been expected since several years. Having said that, some tidbits about issues asked in this video.....
1) 2:58 Getting frustrated is very common, especially in students.
Only rule: Stop, take a break, come back later. Practice shouldn't become a chore; and what if instead of "Practice" you say / think "Playing"? (I learned that recently from one of my followers on Insta!)
2) 4:24 I truly hope that livestreamed concerts are here to stay.
Internet / Social Media has become a giant virtual concert hall with too many opportunities to pass.
Look at us fans here: We are from all around the world, and love to partake Tiffany's concerts.... but who of us can travel to Germany or the NE-U.S. where she performs most?? And what about concert goers who miss the "real" concert because tickets are sold out? Besides, it would be an additional source of revenue for everyone involved in a concert as the paying audience would multiply by 10 or so... (my estimate)😏

I hear you with the you tube algorithm. I have been watching your videos for a while and really enjoy them and I think they really help, especially if i need a bit of motivation to practice piano. To go back to the algorithm i started my channel a few months ago doing paint pouring and it's so difficult to get people to watch and subscribe. And because it is also personal to you your art it can be difficult to process, so yes i can feel your pain with the algorithm. You do bring joy and inspiration to so many people Tiffany and your videos are great lets hope the algorithm gods are always in your favour :)
You have certainly worked with some very professional people in the industry of piano recitals, but remain grounded.
Well done for keeping us involved with music during our transition from live concerts to online performances.

Imho Patreon is a good possibility to support musicians (and otherwise severely affected people) during these times. I personally prefer to pay smaller amounts to a number of people but (at least for the timebeing) mostly unconditional and constant, so it's not so much a roller coaster for the people who depend on Patreon income for now. Small contributions also add up!
