  • One of my first Walmart hauls and I was really surprised at some of the prices. Most of the things are comparable to Aldi but some things were much more expensive.
I got carried away with a few treats and some small gifts for Christmas. I have a plan for another budget meal plan (I’ll be posting that shopping trip and recipes soon!)
Here’s what on the menu this week:
Tri-tip Sandwiches with copycat Wingstop fries
    One Pot Chicken and Rice
    Loaded Sweet Potato Fries
    Baked Penne
    Chili
    TBD for the rest
    Happy Shopping y’all!

$15 on hot sauces is a solid choice! Can never have too many hot sauces. :)

The Krusteze pancake mix is my all time favorite!!! It’s so sweet and they always turn out so fluffy! I worked at a local little restaurant and it’s all we used!! Walmart is crazy expensive where I live. The only grocery store I have immediate access to is Food Lion and it’s worse than Walmart! Walmart is about 15 miles from me and Food Lion is about 5! I got my grand daughter some of the little hot sauces too!!!

Yes! The Krusteze is definitely my favorite! I was honestly surprised that their prices weren’t lower at our Walmart. Maybe I need to know which products are cheaper before I go next time. Luckily our Aldi is much closer and I usually just shop there because their prices are SO good. I hope your grand daughter loves the hot sauces! I can’t wait to give them to my husband! 😄

The prices at your Walmart are a little different than where I live. For example, at my Walmart, the Hunts pasta sauce is $1.34 a can.
I have thought about getting the Hunts Traditional Sauce, but according to the ingredients, it contains high fructose corn syrup and corn syrup. However, the Garlic and Herb flavor does not have that in, which I find interesting as they're the same brand.

Oh wow! That’s so interesting! I wonder why that is. I’m going to try the garlic and herb instead next time 😄 Thank you so much for letting me know!
