Cheers for the video mate, looking into getting one of these and one of the main factors for me is to carry out a DPF Regen. Did you do this with your car and if so did it work as I keep getting faults with mine and having to regen it all the time at a cost with the garage
Hi mate yes fantastic little tool highly recommend it working perfectly for regens however you must make sure that all the parameters are met or the vehicle won't regen. If there fault codes it may not regen as these could in some way be linked to regen. I have regenerated ford Kuga, Volvo S60 and a Peugeot partner so far.
You may well have a dirty/ semi blocked dpf if the vehicle has faults there is a high chance regeneration will fail and could well be why it has so far given problems, please remember to change oil after regeneration as it can contaminate oil. So first find the cause of faults repair those and then try regeneration otherwise you will have same issue every time Hope this helps. If I can assist any more please let me know.
