My issue is not that Jamal got an extension (its still an overpay for the number of games he plays) but a component has not been discussed; it is the simple fact Jamal being so inconsistent and injury-prone has shortened the Jokic championship window and possibly opens Jokic up to burn out.

@Munnnn8 I think that's going to be exposed next season with both Braun and Westbrook getting more playtime. I am certain Murray will be getting a lot of rest and we'll see what the stats have to say
For some time now he has struggled to get loose balls or play defense. His short arms and lack of athleticism makes it difficult against today's players. We shall see how this plays out.
Nobody hopes Murray has an amazing year more than me. For most of it, we just have to wait and see. But, the idea that the playoff injury was the story of last season for Murray isn’t accurate. He played 5/8 of the regular season. If anybody takes the time to review box scores of last season’s losses, it’s as clear as can be, point guard play was a big part, or the part of every loss. Both Murray and Jackson played like crap in every loss. Murray had injuries and times he seemed to lack motivation. Hopefully he has things figured out. If things don’t turn around for him, the Jokic era is screwed……..at least in Denver. 🙃😎
