There's another interview on the range with a senior Unit NCO who went to CDD during the Hk416 development, and said they interviewed every Operator they could in JSOC Army and Navy units about downrange TTPs. When asked if they had ever used shoulder transitions, he said not a single operator in thousands of raids in OIF and OEF reported ever using the technique in combat. Paul Howe says it's basically a range dance technique with no application in the real world.
I'd rather be a smaller target holding a left corner with left side shoulder. Then again, few people train to shoot both sides. PS: Government military personnel are not always better than a civilian who trains hard. Just an personal observation from my career as an infantryman.
@@SeaFalcon The Unit absolutely is better than everyone in these TTPs though. They put in more reps than anyone and are always chasing better ways to do their jobs, with full technical support and an unlimited ammo budget. They all don’t agree on everything, as one can imagine. Also former 11B3P here.
@@LRRPFco52It's evident from a lot of videos online and a recent statement from Tyler Grey that TTPs differ among the four saber squadrons in CAG quite a bit. Or even among different troops and teams within squadrons.
I have not been trained this way and you can look up modern war videos of Ukraine vs Russia or Israel and hamas and they are shoulder swapping. You will get shot if you don’t in certain situations
My question is where’s your Romeo red dot Mr adjunct instructor for sig using a Leupold (what’s looks to be) 😊 I tried this drill this morning you make it look so much smoother, almost like you are some Somalian battle veteran or something
