Beginner's walk to take your image right after you stack it and just get it into a non-linear state. Nothing fancy in here or over the top in depth discussion on all the technical details. Everyone needs to walk before they run in PixInsight!!

I’m going to refer everyone in the Pixinsight for Beginners group to this video. Simple yet very effective.
Always enjoy your videos man. You've made work within pixinsight so much more fun/accessible for myself, and I'm sure many others. I appreciate it.
Great video
It's great for us beginners, and I hope to see more of them. Thank you for your work on training PIX.
many thanks
Good Sky
Looking forward to a future video
After 3 years or so of doing AP and watching hundreds of YTs on the topic, this is still about the level I'm at--with a few exceptions. Wish you had made this video 3 years ago!!!😀
I've been using the Free Trial for a few weeks now, have seen plenty of beginner tutorials, and this one is the best by far!!! so many good plugins to use!
All my scripts are free too :) be sure to add my repository and try them out while you have the trail of PI
Absolute awesome video. Thank´s a lot. :)
I've stumbled my way onto a workflow that is really close to this - rely on your tools A LOT, Frank, thank you. They give me the exact result I am looking for. I wonder if you could do the same "beginner walk" for a mono camera and LRGB files.
It is on my to do list for sure. I shoot mono as well. If you have data you would want me to use on the video shoot me an email, frank@setiastro.com
Excellent video, short and to the point…look forward to more 👍🏻
Quickly done well. Super demonstration😉
Brilliant Thankyou
Thanks!
I see that Hollow Knight shortcut my boy! 😄
Ahh yes! Wish it was a Silksong shortcut lol
Frank - that was Excellent - 🙏
Briliant video can we have a basic stacking video.
Thank you very much, this is exactly what I needed.
Hi …a good series on Pixinsight would be welcome….I am not sure if most users really know how to take full advantage of this great software…please consider.
Interesting.
love it. do you have one that includes pre-processing?
Not yet. I will have to make a wbpp one
@@setiv2 please do!
@@setiv2 Looking for that one. Right now, I do my stacking in Sirl as I've been put off by the PI approaches that I've seen so far.
Excellent! I no longer get RGB flux read outs when I probe an image with the cursor. How can I get that feature back?
In PI got to Edit->Read Out Options -> then be sure the Show readout preview is checked. Then click the blue circle
@@setiv2 I found it and it’s working… thanks for your instructions.
Wrong video to post this but do you think it would be possible to work on an auto mosaic script? I keep having trouble with weird stars and gradient shenanigans soooo... Would be very much appreciated 🙃
Do you have a copy of Photoshop? Almost any version will do. Mosaics are easily done in Photoshop.
Have you seen his mosaic video? Helped me a lot.
