Bastille where formed in the summer of 1979, with there first live performance at the
Ingatestone Youth Club, Essex on Friday June 8th 1979. This demo tape was recorded
a few months later with the help of Adrian Smith and Andy Barnett from Urchin. After
34 years, the original tape has been found and the three tracks can be heard, The
only recordings ever made by this original line up of bastille. 'Richard Bull' (Summer 2012)
Recorded late 1979 at Urchin's Recording Studio, Victoria Park Road, Hackney,
East London. Engineered, mixed and produced by Adrian smith , Andy Barnett and
Bastille.

Russ, thanks for your kind words, we really enjoyed ourselves gigging between 1979 and 1981, I can't believe it was forty years ago.
