Cheers Anthony, picked up on few good point's, I use grade A lanolin grease for things like those bush bolt's, preventing rust, repels water, lasts without drying out.
In my environment the originals were rusted in so bad, had to cut them out, put new bushes in with copper grease on the pins, then clean off the surplus to avoid debris sticking to the surplus grease.
Really like this video. Trying to decide replace original bushes on LCA (was hoping to change the ball joint as well but you mentioned something about not getting these!) or replace with aftermarket as genuine more than double the cost. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on your aftermarket tester. Learnt lots on this video, cheers.
I have replaced bushes on Toyota tundras and sometimes the bolts get rusted to the sleeves and it’s a pain and you may have to cut out the bolts and sleeves
Why? Been doing this a while never had a problem. Have grease on other cars 10 years they still free no problem but thanks for telling me how to do it.
Excellent information & very timely.
Great video, looking forward to part 2 , thanks heaps.
Today maybe hey 😁

Copper grease would probably be my number one choice. I just don’t think it matters too much.

I really like the comment short enough that I got time to read it 🤣😮🤔😁🙏✌️
@@Fourby4Diesel yeah, I was trying to “keep it short”, I too tend to waffle on, LOL!
Aka VD Verbal Diarrhoea;)

Yes, it happens. That’s what this reciprocating saw is for 🤣
I did mine a few weeks ago and had to get the grinder out on both sides what a pain in the arse
The upper control arm bushing should also be replaced mate. Advice from your big brothers in the US.
Why
With all due respect you should replace the camber sleeves and bolts. Use only silicone grease to lube the sleeves
Why?
