When the Beatles put this song out almost 50 years ago I knew it was something special, even as a 10 year old kid, who'd have thought it would still be relevant!

After watching Paul explain this song on Karaoke Car Ride I will never see this song in the same way again. Mother Mary is literally his Mom and those words , Let It Be , were actual words of advice from her to him. Some times looking for deeper meaning we miss the small ones right in front of us.
I had two grandmothers, a mother, stepmother, three sisters, a number of sisters-in-law, two ex-wives, three daughters, two daughters in law, six granddaughters, and I think that’s most of them. The women I my life have each in their way and time been exceptional and worthy of all respect, every day and all day, not just a special day. Why do so many men not get it? What are they afraid of? It is about more than opening doors and remembering to put the down, although that’s important, too. It’s about thoughtfulness and respect and love in all ways and at all times, just as we want it ourselves.

Hardly never hear someone say "Oh no, not another flash mob," but seriously there's a vid here of a "Sugar, Sugar" line dance that I think would be a great mall flash mob. I can't decide if I like the amateurs more than the professionals. They're all really good.

That was AMAZING !!... I don't know how I got to this video, as I was looking for one that's got no connections to it, but I am so glad I did ! I LOVE the Beatles, and this is one of my absolute favourite songs of theirs. I am a massive John Lennon fan and I think the Fab Four would have enjoyed it, and impressed by how good everyone taking part was.....!
