Chinese historical dramas are getting more accurate with Chinese traditional elements, food, clothing, posture, etc. some of the paintings you see are actually real. Aka full of culture and tradition even the way they walk and bow in Chinese tradition. please respect. (Bringing up gov, and other false info will mean jealousy and brainwashed rats) period. Korean culture is essentially a Chinese Ming Dynasty replica. Japanese culture is a Chinese Tang Dynasty replica. Hanfu has influenced the traditional clothing of many neighbouring cultures, including the Korean hanbok,[7][8] the Japanese kimono (wafuku),[9][10] the Okinawan ryusou,[11][12] and the Vietnamese áo giao lĩnh (Việt Phục).[13][14] Up to a certain extent, hanfu has also influenced some elements in Western fashion, especially those influenced by Chinoiserie fashion, due to the popularity of Chinoiserie since the 17th century in Europe and in the United States.[15]: 52 [note 1] Silk remains a core element of Hanfu and Chinese traditional clothing.
Spoiler alert......I dropped this drama twice before and couldn't understand as it was my kind of drama but after giving it a third try i realized why. Excellent and entertaining beginning with awesome cast. Smart male lead and brave female lead. But after they got married or even before that their characters personalities changed and it became too messy from there on. Definitely not worth the 62 episodes and my time...too depressing and giving you headaches.

We know there’s a lot of jealous rats here.
@Jermaine Williams someone’s jealous
@Jermaine Williams Kinda funny, because indeed within your statement you are also a racist. Only a racist like to paint and think people act like a group and not individuals. So if you are a racist, why are you so bother by other "racists."

Jianwen’s loyal officials and their families’ fates were much worse than portrayed here. Yongle was a terrible and evil human being.
Subsequent rulers always greatly exaggerated the evil of their predecessor's rule as happened especially to the first emperor Qin Shi Huang
So true! And what he did to his own family... absolutely ridiculous... good thing his son was very different
But a great emperor which a lot of modern Chinese admire!
