coming from a virginia tech fan, who i feel like they have had one of the best Ds overall year in and year out, and there has been only 2 recievers that have consistently beat them and that was Calvin Johnson at GT and this man Larry Fitz from Pitt. Great respect never in trouble, gives back to the community, overall just a great man who will go very far in life.
This man is so humble! I love how the first thing he does after a catch is get up and hand the ball the the ref. No flashy celebrations or anything. He's got such a good head on his shoulders. Amazing human being! These diva wide receivers spike the ball after a first down and celebrate like they just won the Super Bowl.
legendary two seasons (wish we had more)...i was at the old orange bowl in miami on a thursday night in 2002 for fitz's national "coming out party" canes won that game (barely) but had every canes fan in my section saying, man that #1 is special! H2P!!
I remember watching fitz's 2 years at pitt, and to be honest, I don't think I remember ever seeing him drop a single pass. I'm sure he did drop a couple, but it sure doesn't seem like it lol
I enjoyed watching Fitzgerlad's 2 years at Pitt. It's a shame he got robbed of winning the Heisman in 2003.

We have throughly enjoyed Larry here in AZ. He was the beginning of the turnaround for the Cards.

The one thing I noticed is that he always hands the ball back to the ref rather than just throwing it on the ground. Kinda interesting haha
