Hi, I have a brand new pair of 1478 rustic black blundstones. They are pre distressed leather. Do I have to protect them when new. Thanks.

Is the boot on the right Stone Nubuck #1941? Also, is it a classic boot or the dress boot?

Do you do this with new blundstones? I just bought a pair and plan to use the waterproof spray. Do I need to treat my new boots with anything else?

Waterproof spray should be plenty to start :)

Hey great video! Just a quick question. I have the rustic brown blundstones and I was wondering if this changes the color on it?

It will darken the appearance, and then quickly lighten back up as moisture gets absorbed (like you can see in the time-lapse)
It does not stain or change the color in any way, just darkens it slightly from reintroducing moisture

Should I use this on 1673 antique brown blundstones? It if not what product would you recommend? Thanks!

I heard different things about this product, that it contains “silicone” which can crack? Is this true? Or is this still a good product (i have the 585, would that make a difference)

I've been using it on the same pair of Blundstones for 6 years and never had any issues :)

Lifestyle Lab Hey just had a quick question, do you have to condition the boot as well as waterproof it, or waterproofing with do just fine for a long lasting boot?
      Thanks:)

      Hi Jordy,
I've only ever used this waterproofing formula, but I am quite religious about applying it once a month or so. If your boots are very dehydrated or worn, a conditioner may be needed to help the process
