What a beautiful card, Cathy! I LOVE those blues, and the ink blending is so pretty. The bokeh snow is *chef's kiss*! I don't think that snow looks dirty at all, it just looks like it's shaded from the trees. Those Waffle Flower tools are pretty amazing, I love the idea of the stencil mats. The brushes are so pretty - they look like chorus girls getting ready to can-can in that beautiful brush holder! 👍💖
It is just me or is Cathy more ‘Bob Ross of card making’ in this video than usual? I love watching you create and talk yourself (and us) through the process.
The tools are fun to see. But I LOVE the card you made. Adding the hills at the bottom & the snow on top of the trees was the perfect addition. I love how it came together.
I gotta admit, I wasn't sure about blue trees....but this card is BEAUTIFUL!! You really create absolutely beautiful work...off the cuff too! My cards take me HOURS that I wonder if it's really worth it?! LOL!
@@czdesign They can be inserted "vertically" too -- longways on the media mat, so that the container is inserted in the two left side cups. I saw another video on these before yours, so I knew about that. Thank you for the dimension on the trees! Beautiful!
Oh Cathy, this is gorgeous! I ❤️ the stencil, I’m a sucker for trees! 🤣. All the fun new products look like they’ll make card making more efficient and fun, looking forward to picking up a few! 😉
Thanks for the blue trees, they look wonderful. I have the new Simon inks and I love the idea of using the blue shades. Really pretty card and I love my waffle flower mat, these new sizes are a great idea.
I love this card. I usually mass produce cards (if I make them), but there are so many amazing new products that I think I'm going to pick a color scheme (red and aqua) and a general theme (trees and greenery) and just have fun this year. It's time to get back to the fun part of crafting.
Such a lovely card! Wintery and Christmasy at the same time, you really used gorgeous color. I like how your cards evolve through the vid, and I’ll go now to find my falling snow stencil! TFS, have a great day, Cathy! 💌
I don't mass produce my Christmas cards, either. Being the glutton for punishment that I am, I make unique cards for all my friends and family. Granted I will do a set of *similar* cards, but no two are exactly alike. For example, I went to town earlier this month making cards using the GinaK Sparkle and Shine and the Holiday Tapestry stamps. I would do the same design for a couple of cards, but change the color of the cardstock and embossing powder. Another example are the light up cards I made. One was made with the Sparkle and Shine tree & one with the ornament. It was the first time I've tried the EZ lights on a card and it was much easier than I imagined. Right now I'm doing a series of cards using Spellbinders Merry Stitching dies that have holes punched in them that you stitch with embroidery floss. I've got about a dozen different variations with different size cards, some where the elements are stand-alone and you attach to a card front and some that are cut into the card front itself. I spent one weekend planning out what designs I wanted to do and die cutting everything. Fortunately, the stitching is very simple and doesn't take a lot of time so I can get a couple of them done in an evening while watching the TV. It does mean that I have to start making cards months in advance. I'm doing better this year than I have in the past. I may actually get them all finished by the beginning of December so I can send them out in time to arrive *before* Christmas. That'll be a first! 🤣
Ah. Thanks. 😊 Several people have told me they always keep my cards or continue to display them year round. One even told me she planned on framing it. 😆
Talk about SMART design! The soft side containers snapping into the wells on the side of the mat is beyond brilliant. I love complimentary/value added products. Well done!
Thanks Cathy. I have been using it to do other things. Just because it has the edge. Love your videos and style. All these tools need a place to live and even though my room is 14 x 14 it filled up fast. Have a wonderful day. 💕🥰
I love blender brushes and the stand. Now what I need is a cover to go over the stand and brushes. There is so much animal fur in my house, if I leave them out it will be a disaster, lol
I just bought a bunch of "sea creature" stencils so I could do glass etchings for gifts. But now I know how to use the stencils for coordinated cards! Really Big Mahalo! 🌊🏝🌋
So pretty! Love the colors. Blue Spruces do look quite blue in real life. We had one for a Christmas tree one year. Beautiful tree, but the branches are very prickly. Hurt to decorate it!
You surprised me when you used the brown/tan blending brush for the white pigment ink instead of the white brush in the set! LOL I saved my white one for white pigment only so I always know which one to grab. Your card turned out adorable! Love that tree stencil and the blue trees! I chuckled at your 'dirty snow' : )))
I am so glad that I purchased the large stencil mat. I used Altenew inks with mine ---and one of the pinks stained it. I was surprised. But--not disappointed in the mat!! I love it! It is so awesome to use. Thanks for sharing with us!!!
Thanks for your video today. You cheered me b/c for the past day and half, my college daughter was going through software upload heck. It took her about 20 hrs to lose all on her MacBook. Ty. Also Waffle has great concentric trees that you showed recently.
I can’t bear to start thinking about Christmas 🎅🏼 🎄 but it’ll be on us before we know it, so I really love these card ideas to inspire and motivate me!
Oooooooooooh, love the tree stencil! The blending mats look nice too, but wouldn’t a stencil fit in the corner of the media mat? Not sure. I’ve been thinking about the large media mat, as the mini media is too small for me. Now not sure which I would prefer. Lol!
I bet it would! Yes. I think the idea with these, which i saw in another video was that you can have much larger papers hanging out, which would be great for larger projects or even scrapbook pages!
@@czdesign That makes sense. I didn’t even think of larger papers, projects, etc. I kept thinking perhaps more comfortable for arm/wrist with no rim??? And I think the mini of the stencil specific model is larger than the the mini media mat like I have, so I’ll have to analyze that to death too-Lol! These companies have no idea what they do to us! HAHAHAHA!
Hey Cathy! I love that stand for the brushes. Do you know if it fits other brand brushes in it or just the Waffleflower? I might order a few of them for all of my different brushes because I love the design.
Tools are my weakness, I love the tools of the craft trade. Waffle Flower Crafts are on top of their game!

"chef's kiss" is a term I literally just started hearing and I love it!
@@czdesign It's such a fun way to describe perfection - we all know exactly what the gesture means! :)
It is just me or is Cathy more ‘Bob Ross of card making’ in this video than usual? I love watching you create and talk yourself (and us) through the process.
Happy snowy trees!
Hahaha!! She’s good!
The tools are fun to see. But I LOVE the card you made. Adding the hills at the bottom & the snow on top of the trees was the perfect addition. I love how it came together.
Oh thank you!
Beautiful icy scene! I love this style of "live action" videos from you.
Such a soft, wintery look. You reminded me if Bob Ross when you dropped your voice and were adding stencil details!
I will admit, I have watched a lot of Bob over the years.
It’s not dirty snow, just tree shadows. It looks great as always.
I gotta admit, I wasn't sure about blue trees....but this card is BEAUTIFUL!! You really create absolutely beautiful work...off the cuff too! My cards take me HOURS that I wonder if it's really worth it?! LOL!
So glad you showed the brush cups inserted into the watercolor mats. Now I will have to buy a couple.
Yeah, I didn't get that at first and added that in to show folks how it works!
@@czdesign They can be inserted "vertically" too -- longways on the media mat, so that the container is inserted in the two left side cups. I saw another video on these before yours, so I knew about that.
Thank you for the dimension on the trees! Beautiful!
Oh my, waffle flower too! I don’t feel so bad that there are about six making pressure tools. These are beautiful.
Sweet card. I love Waffle Flower products, but my room can only store so much craft stuff🤷♀️.
I get it. I have almost run out, too! lol!
It may look like dirty snow but it’s not yellow snow! Love this
It's not dirty snow, it's some shadow from the trees! Love this card
There you go!
Oh my, super cute card! 😍 I love the dirty snow. Actually my favourite part is the snowflakes.
Mine too!
Beautiful card! I love the blue trees!
Another fantastic card! I love the different shades from the same color family.

A beautiful card! Thanks for sharing your talents! 🥰
LOVE your card, doesn’t look like dirty snow, looks like shadows!!
Oh thank you!
I love the blue trees! So pretty!
Thanks for the blue trees, they look wonderful. I have the new Simon inks and I love the idea of using the blue shades. Really pretty card and I love my waffle flower mat, these new sizes are a great idea.
I’ve got to look, I’ve wanted their mini mat for a long time for watercolor. I like that Simon Hurleys inks can be used like watercolor too.
Loved this because you could make more than one without over thinking it
Love the tree stencil, I couldn't bear to cover them up, and would put the thin greeting on the inside lol 🌍🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🌍
Oh for sure there are blue trees in reality .. like a Blue Spuce!!! But also creating our own reality is a great and acceptable option for sure!!
I love your cards. And how you whisper during your videos 😊
Oh, Cathy, I love those blue trees.
Cathy: "It wouldn't suck ..."
Me: 😂🤣😂
Blessed crafting! 😊
OBSESSED! Pre-ordered the bundle! My water mats are my FAVE!!!!!! 🥰

Your card is beautiful! The different coloured trees look classy and stunning. I absolutely love those brushes. I love pastels.
Thank you so much!
Beautiful card.... I have a problem thinking outside the Box sometime so really appreciate the use of the 3 teal colors
so happy we got a boop :) such a lovely card x

@@czdesign you could stencil matching trees onto casserole dishes and holiday glassware using the etching paste! 🎄🎄🎄

Look at you multitasking! Showing a craft video while doing an O & J live, which I thoroughly enjoyed! Now off to watch your card video! :-)
Lol! One was pre filmed!
Beautiful card. It's wonderful to see so many different ways to do cards.

Didn't even cross my mind! Good idea!
Beautiful card. Great new tools . Thank you.
Did I just find my Christmas cards for 2021!!??!!
YES!
I love WaffleFlowers new tools, stencils, and Brushes. The colors were fun. The card is beautiful. Thanks

So buying that stencil!

LOL dirty snow? LOL Love the scene though!
So pretty 💙🤍
The mats are wonderful.
This stencil is beautiful. I love your colour choices!!!
Thank you so much!
Think I would rather have dirty snow over yellow snow. Just sayin. Thank you for showing what the difference is in the 2 mat sizes.
I love this card!
Verry pretty
emboss snowflakes
This is a fab design Cathy! I was thinking more of evening snow as opposed to dirty snow … silver lining you know 😉.
I like that
