i'm trying to educate my riders eye and i agree with extended trot. The front legs were so high and the hind ones barely engaged. You could see the tension in this horse. that's what i noticed, it was obvious and easy to see. What do u think wasn't perfect in thgat trot?
Hania Wójcikiewicz agreed. the horse seems to have quite a bit of movement in the front end anyway, but the hind end certainly lost its impulsion as they pushed up into the extension :)
Very unhappy horse. Swishing tail, chewing on the bit, ears back all the time. Hollow back. The only moment this horse relaxes is in the free walk. Shame i feel sorry for this horse. Another who is experiances abuse just for a ribbon for his human. Wont be long before this horse breaks down just like Totilas. Sad to see this is still allowed.
I dissagre about the swishing of the tail the chewing or the ears back. The swishing of the tail always is when it is a high energie in the movement and you need a lot of energie to make these movements. The chewing can happen when the horse prefers to do that. I have some hores that do it and some that dont do it. And the ears it only means that the horse is realy consentrated on the rider. What i dont like in this performance is the distance of the head to the widers. The neck like that is realy short wher it should be a long neck with the nose on or a little before the vertical. That is for me the bigest mistake with this paare.
@@ikarinascoke2086 Well I guess we just wait and see, after the olympics how fast this horse will be sold. Than we all know enough :) But I really do disagree with your opinion. But thats why we are human. I accpet that you think like that but for me this is abuse. Have a good day :D
I agree. These competitions and whole dressage thing should be forbidden. It is sad to look at those poor animals" dancing " when people just cheering and enjoying...cause they have no idea what is really going on...
@@LadyPteleomona I think a lot of them are having fun. The horses, I mean. Have you not seen videos of the dressage horses turned out and doing piaffes, side by side? One really cute one is a large warmblood being ridden in a ring beside a pasture with ponies and mini's in it. One of the mini's was strutting beside him, doing the Spanish Walk like his bigger counterpart. Run, extend a gait, and then collect it again are natural movements, but elevation and control are developed with the aid of human coaches. If they didn't enjoy showing off their elevated trots to each other, they wouldn't do it. The thing I hold against the FEI is that you must have a bitted bridle. I'm getting five times better side-passes and half-passes on one of my mares with a sidepull bridle. A PADDED sidepull bridle, at that! (I like making sure my girl's all comfy.) Everything I've taught her has begun on the ground. I'd want to do more dressage if bitless bridles were allowed. There's always western dressage, and this mare is built for it, being a QH, but I've always loved the classical style's grace and elegance more. What can I say? I'm an east coast girl.

Desperado is dancing even with his tail. Very beautiful performance. Bravo.
Thank you for putting yourselves on the line🐎...be safe out there🐴🤓
THAT is as fine an equine athlete as you are ever likely to find.
Love the horse's name!:)
Bravo!💪
Lovely!
Beautiful performance - lovely stallion!
Wow😍
What record did she "break"? Personal best? I have seen higher scores than that 85 score. hate hyped video titles.
I like the walk and canter, but the piaffe/passage and extended trot... nah.

Yeah, the extended trot looks like it loses engagement. Reminds me of Totilas....

This horse reminds me of Tortillas I wonder if the same thing that happened to him happened to Desperados
Very depressing dressage riders don’t focus more on hoof health.
