- My shaking hands makes installing bindings on our acoustic guitar a challenge. The purflings, a silicone space and the binding are taped in place and hit with some CA glue. It was difficult for me with my shaking hands but we eventually get it done.

For someone who drank tea by the kettle load each day, now I only drink hot water, by the kettle load
(to avoid gluten, or can't be asked to source gluten free tea), it's not too bad XD

Hi Mr. Monty, I assume this binding is the Plastic ABS? And you use CA glue. Can Acetone be used on this Binding . I have used the Acetone on the ABS Binding on the solid body electric guitars.
I have only used wooden bindings for all of the guitars that I've made. I'm looking forward to trying something with a ABS binding and I know it is used on arch top jazz guitars and is put in place with what looks like tape on yellow glue.
Is it a 4 ply binding you are putting on?
Solid rosewood for the binding.
