Hi Becky I have a tip about your washing machine. Leave the lid open when your not using it that helps prevent the musty smell inside your washer and mold growth between the clothes drum and the water reservoir of the clothes drum.

Yes!! We have two laundry facilities in our home..a blessing ❤ one bc we have swimming pool one on 1st floor and one on second floor. Always leave the lid up to dry things out!! I also wipe everything out with a Lysol wipe each load. Four members in our home, most loads are done separately for each member. It makes it easier to wash, dry, fold an put everything away in record time!!!

Stack the wood slices biggest to smallest with the long piece on the bottom to make it look like a tree and maybe add a star and a date on each slice to represent the years.

Hi Becky, just a suggestion for you for your grocery list. We repurposed an large painting we did not like the picture anymore, but loved the frame, so we turned the picture around and painted it with blackboard paint. I then sectioned it out into grocery stores and “to do” lists for myself and my hubby. Then every time we run out of something or have something we need to get done it gets written on the board. Just before we go shopping we take a photo on our phones so that the shopping list does not get lost. Once shopping or task is done, rub it off the board ready for the next items to be added. You can customise the board to suit your needs or season and make it as pretty or utilitarian as you want. If you don’t have a framed picture to use, grab one you like from a thrift/ second hand store. Hope this tip may be useful to you.

@@cajbafTotally agree. People forget that Becky is just a regular wife and mom just like the rest of us. These videos are her job and a source of income. Just because she chooses to share certain aspects of her life doesn’t mean “we” are entitled to know everything. I commend her for not caving and sharing things she doesn’t want to share. “We” are strangers to Becky. She doesn’t know us from Adam. She’s doing everything in her power to allow her son to have a normal life separate from his mom’s very successful UA-cam channel. She graciously explained all of this and yet people refuse to respect her wishes.

Becky, My washer came with a “Cleaning Cycle”! I can buy a large pellet that dissolves and cleans everything it touches! When it is finished my front loader looks and smells fabulous and the only thing I have to actually hand clean is the front inside of the door and the rubber rings that seal the door when the machine is in cycle! One thing the installer said was NEVER leave the front door closed when the washer is not in use!!! Leave that door ajar enough so that air gets into the drum. It will dry inside the washer and I have never had to worry about the mildew and/or sour smell that comes from closing the door on a damp or wet drum. I have washed 5 pair of men’s jeans at one time and they come out clean and ready for the dryer! I love my washer and dryer!!

Keep a dedicated dish brush in your laundry. The stiff bristles clean those creases and crannies really well.

I collect lighted houses, so I have at least six of those bins, and they are triple in size to that one, plus boxes of Christmas decorations. Most of the houses are department 56, but I have some smaller ones that are plastic which I call my Whoville Village. My daughter gave me the Grinch with his sleigh and dog for it. I love it so much.

A tip for next year's after-christmas cleanup..dollar store $1.00 blue tarp..they re-fold easily, and if you spread it on the floor before you take down the fireplace greenery, all the schmutz ends up on it..gather the corners and no needles all through the house
