I almost wish that Injustice 2 came with variants of the same character like MKX instead of the custom things in loadouts. I want Green Lantern with different color power rings that do different things and a Sinestro Corps Scarecrow that gave him some stuff from a distance.

the way I found to beat Deadshot is that he only has a few overhead moves and Rocket Jump that can truly isolate you. Being able to get in and use down 2 opening up a nice combo set forcing him to use assassin's Rush with meter each time will really hurt his chances of being able to use a ton of projectiles against you. you're going to probably have to use meter and rush in the most of the time you can catch him in opening when he does is projectile shots get to some clean hits and start some nice combos.

INJUSTICE 2 HIDDEN TRICK - When you preform your super move, you can time the character's Attacks with your button presses to increase your damge. Similarly if their super move is being used against you, then pressing the buttons at the right time can mitigate some damage. Use this knowledge to your own advantage.
destructodude I just finished doing it a few hours ago. Go for air shield throws/lasso tosses. When on ground go for the lasso grab and meter burn. That should get you through most fights however if you see a Black Adam near the end of the roster just restart to get a new roster.
I found my way locking down with 1,1,3 and spamming character power until I got Hestia. Back 2, 3 with Hestia does ridiculous damage for two hits. At 20, I unlocked the air-shield-bash, which is a lot more my speed (just need to delay it after landing an air 1). I've been trying out a seemingly popular combo that's in all the Wondy trailers: Forward 2, 3, Back 3, etc, but it doesn't come out reliably without hammering 3. And, yeah... Adam's character power needs to be nerfed for the higher difficulty AI.
I personally didn't like the first injustice game very much but it was alright, I think that this second one looks really good, and I'm a huge fan of all the MK games. Would you still recommend me buying this one? Any replies would be appreciated.

The napalm vomit ender is the one most ppl will do on block strings because it's safe but it hits high so maybe try to punish it on whiff? Definitely not an easy matchup for scarecrow. If he gets you in the 50/50, push block if you can spare the meter. Only armor back 3 if atrocitous' trait is not up, especially if he's spamming or doing his mid far reaching blood sword move.
Atrocitus has a really good trait along with decent specials. His normals are slowish, but he can set up for a lot of damage. I played him a little bit, but found him to be meh imo. That player you faced has made me reconsider.

I am crap at fighting games, part of why is because I feel like a regular xbox one controller is really just not made for fighting games and is hard to get the right inputs consistently. What do most people use for fighting games and does anyone have any tips for using the controller?
Chingalling Well competitions use the PlayStation controller. If your not feeling the Xbox controller try for a gamepad but they can be pricy. An alternative I guess would be to find a xbone controller that was modded to have a proper directional pad and different sticks. If you don't want to do any of those then my advice would be to practice with how the controller is laid out to get used to it.
Players online always back up pretty much the entire game regardless of the character you pick. idk why. This "back up" playstyle is pretty much asking to get zoned on. Then they proceed to get mad when they get zoned on.
