@AskEck- here’s a big one. If anyone can use the force, it just depends on how much you practice, and how gifted you are. Than why can’t force be replicated in a clone, if anyone can use the force? Isn’t that contradictory
The Force is an energy field created by all living things. The concentration of midichlorians isnt uniform across all life forms. There can be trees with minimal m-counts, and there may be a Tree with substantially high M-Count. Just the same for people of all alien species. Some people got a lot, some people barely got anything. It would be my understanding that a baseline number wouldnt mean you could have Force Powers like what we see the Jedi or Sith have, but merely just exist within the living force and its energy field that binds and penetrates us all and binds the universe together. But a significant M-Count concentration would be how individuals are taken into the Jedi/Sith Order. Those with borderline concentrations would probably be the ones brought into the Guardians of the Whills, not made into Jedi but obviously taught the religious ways of the Jedi order.
I'm glad they didn't use this poster, because I would have gotten SUPER HYPED to see an Allegiance class on the poster, and seeing a Xyston instead would have been just awful. Well, moreso than it was.
Solution to this: Make your fan work diverse from Starwars art direction This is like the FNAF Help Wanted poster again, Scott should have sued for HIS CHARACTER being plagiarised by fan content because that image was so close to the original that it got onto an official poster for the game
The other day Nerf released an image of their new Destiny gun. Someone pointed out to Bungie that Nerf copied their art, Nerf then fixed it. Why can't all companies fix it that fast
For me, Star Wars is Episode 1 through 6, with Rogue One and Clone Wars thrown in. Even Battle of Endor and Caravan of Courage. Old Expanded Universe only. Everyone can take Star Wars on their own terms just like Lord of the Rings or Terminator or anything else. I dismiss most Disney Star Wars as non canon. Oh well.
Every franchise that lives as long as this one has will have its greatness on display and eventually not be so great. When people complain that episodes 7-8-9 are the worst star wars films or claim book of boba fett is worst star wars tv show or just refuse to call them star wars, I enter into evidence: The Ewok movies, the Holiday Special, The Ewoks cartoon, Droids cartoon, etc.... and suddenly when faced with the ACTUAL worst star wars films and shows do most folk let up on the hatred of the newest trilogy or newest shows. The hardest part for most star wars fans is to allow anything new into their personal definition of "Star Wars" when for me the issue is people making personal definitions in the first place. Its all star wars, the good and the bad, the written books and the illustrated comics, the games, the RP tabletop RPGs, the card games, the minifigure games, the toy lines, the movie replicas, the 501st costuming community, all of it is. But no one has to subscribe to ALL of it lol. I was perfectly happy as a kid only knowing the 1-6 and the Thrawn Trilogy/Young Jedi knights series. having never even known about all the rest i listed above. I wasnt a big fan and still am not one, of the Clone Wars animated film. But I LOVE the show it spawned. Every single aspect of the show is wonderful and fleshes out and references and cannonizes so many things from legends. But I dont have to specify that the clone wars animated film isnt star wars to me. lol. Same for folk that dont consider star wars video games as star wars, not everyone is meant to subscribe to all things star wars. not all adults i know buy many of the toys for themselves lol. I know they exist, but theres just parts of the franchise that exist for certain folk and not for others. Take it or leave it mentality i suppose. Doing so just makes me think if you did that anywhere else, like "to me, McDonalds is Big Macs, Happy Meals, and QuarterPounders only, no Filet-o-Fish or McChickens, that isnt McDonalds to me." Just sounds absurd lol.
They should have used the allegiance star destroyer for they Xsyton anyways it would fit the size they were going for much better and looks amazing while still being very imperial
I'm going to apologize in advance if I missed it, But I didn't see any corrections of the usage of the word "Dorsal" Dorsal would mean on the Top side. Like a dolphin's Dorsal Fin or Godzilla's Dorsal Plates The word you meant is VENTRAL. Means underside

I actually like the sequels and the tv shows better than the last two prequels, but i have three major problems with disney star wars 1. This fuckery. The uncareful plagerism. 2. Taking the comics from Dark Horse and giving them back to Marvel. I domt wanna talk shit about the marvel artists, but the artists feel uninspired compared to DH artists. 3. The games. The prequels are my least favorite trilogy, especially before i watched Clone Wars. But that was the best time for star wars games. We had a solid run from 1997-2015 with epic games. There were a lot of duds, too, but they were easily ignorable through all the gold. I was never a huge fan of the KOTOR series, the Force Unleashed series or any of the games based on the movie itself. But that was fine considering i had the jedi outcast games, the star wars pod racing game, republic commando, battlefront 1, and 2, star wars bounty hunter, etc etc etc.

I got the idea from a few fan films that were in the form of a documentary of the empire that follows a carrier group and the large carrier Is star destroyer shape with its dorsal and ventral holes mirrored.

My theory is that after he was saved after the purge, so senator or rebel group hired these pirates to protect him, but was eventually captured by the empire or forgot about grogu, (why he was never given to the new republic after the war), and the pirates not knowing he was a jedi just kept and raised him till mando showed up, killed them and stole their kid.
I'd also like to take a second to mention how the 'Lusankya vs Reaper' piece was lazily turned into the 'Ravager' and 'Annihilator/Liberty's Misrule' pieces.
#AskEck
For some dumb unknown reason The Juggernaut isn't given a lot of screen time nor is it utilized well on screen even though it's an extremely awesome and useful vehicle so what's up with that? WHY EVEN ADD THIS VEHICLE TO STAR WARS WHEN THEY'RE NOT EVEN GONNA USE IT RIGHT!!!???
The short answer is to sell toys.
@ben501st But unlike TMNT, this is undeserved because the vehicle didn't get what it deserved.
I'd love a really crunchy sim-like star wars fleet combat game with fractal sponge as a main ship/art designer.
Part of me likes that they used fan material in official promotional materials, but there should be some kind of agreement, or position as a official ship designer for games, shows and movies
What happened to the outro music?
he has permission from the musician who wrote+owns the song he used to use, but there's a scummy company that buys the rights to use songs once then false copyright strikes everyone who has ever used that song on YT :/
he's explained it a few times if you look back in his videos if you want more details
tried linking video but it got caught in the auto moderation system, it's from 8 months ago and it's called "I'm being stolen from by the Orchard Music"
Lucasfilm needs to just hire Fractalsponge and/or pay them for their designs. They're so unbelievably talented!
@AskEck- here’s a big one. If anyone can use the force, it just depends on how much you practice, and how gifted you are.
Than why can’t force be replicated in a clone, if anyone can use the force?
Isn’t that contradictory
Spoiler alert for the Bad Batch. They do.
I'd love if they pay Fractual Sponge and then we can see the Allegiance in an actual movie.
I ADORE it.
5:08 you see it in the Seadfast's hangar when Rey and Kylo start circling each other. And when they Dock Oochi's ship in the hangar
Finalized Star Destroyer eh?
There is a scene in Rise of Skywalker that shows the turbolasers firing from outside, right after the Allegiant General says "use ion canons"
I'm glad they didn't use this poster, because I would have gotten SUPER HYPED to see an Allegiance class on the poster, and seeing a Xyston instead would have been just awful. Well, moreso than it was.
If they steal the design its canon!
wait wait wait....
Its unused poster.....
so its a placeholder image........
Solution to this:
Make your fan work diverse from Starwars art direction
This is like the FNAF Help Wanted poster again, Scott should have sued for HIS CHARACTER being plagiarised by fan content because that image was so close to the original that it got onto an official poster for the game
For five minutes can you not be dumb? FOR FIVE MINUTES!!!
Oh well.
I agree with you. I have not watched most of the new stuff. I saw Solo and it sucked so bad I just quit. Same with Marvel and Lord Of the Rings.
Y'all do realize that fanart is technically IP theft right? Legally speaking.
Digging the chiptune outro :D
When did you change the outro music?
Make a darth revan movie or something
Please not the Titan!!
They should have used the allegiance star destroyer for they Xsyton anyways it would fit the size they were going for much better and looks amazing while still being very imperial
I'm going to apologize in advance if I missed it, But I didn't see any corrections of the usage of the word "Dorsal"
Dorsal would mean on the Top side.
Like a dolphin's Dorsal Fin or Godzilla's Dorsal Plates
The word you meant is VENTRAL.
Means underside
Hey Eck, WWII historian here. I ask you, please do not refer to the citadel and bridge of a battleship as “conning tower”. That term is used on submarines only. If you have questions about these things for future videos, please feel free to reach out, fine sir.
#AskEck The H’Drachi species have the ability to view a ‘time stream’ - do you think this is a force technique or something else? Please see the Rivers of Chaos comic book for reference.
Not gonna lie, I'm heavily missing the old outro music. Resonance for life my dude
Dorsal cannons are the worst enemy unit in Squadrons.
Time to crowdfund buying the Star Wars IP from Disney
Much of the Canon is made up of ideas from the legends that, even though they are official products in the form of being licensed, were still made by fans, that even though they didn't make the most perfect stories you saw that they were stories made by fans for fans nowadays with few exceptions it seems made by haters for those who don't even care about franchise
@@doomslayer9138 a true fan if not like something would just ignore and enjoy life, people that shit post are not fans just people who think they are entitled
@@peachpanzer519 A fake fan accepts anything without questioning and even calls anyone who complains a fake fan. A real fan always demands the best and doesn't encourage companies to do shit.
@doomslayer9138 actually a fan just won't spend money if not happy, and will not waste time posting like a little child having a melt down because they don't like something, fans act mature unlike 99 percent of the child's that post and think it makes s them cool to complain
This is how low we got?
Man it's getting to say "I am an Star Wars fan".
Star Wars is not stealing anything from anyone its the exact opposite
#askeck whats your thoughts on ship combat in Battlestar Galactica? Im pretty sure you talked a lil about it in a old Vs video but it would be cool to hear your take on what they did well or didnt 👍
I actually like the sequels and the tv shows better than the last two prequels, but i have three major problems with disney star wars
#AskEck I spoke to Timothy Zahn years ago with a question. "Instead of just using ships he comes across. If Thrawn could design his own big capital ship, what would it be like?" Timothy Zahn said the Imperial Star Destroyer is the biggest practical ship. What sort of ship would you come up with? And what do you think of mine?
I designed this with render made by Simon Coles: ua-cam.com/video/fbbiFqOxE9U/v-deo.html&ab_channel=gundam2jimmy
#AskEck Hey Eck, not really a lore question but did you ever play the old Star Wars Galaxies MMO? I think its one of the most forgotten/unmentioned Star Wars games out there.
mimicry is the best form of flattery, they're admitting that random people on the internet do better than they can.
Disney LOVES stealing fan work for themselves.
Oh man, how could they?
Yknow what? I really hope that they dont steal the, uh, Dreadnaught class Heavy cruiser that Fractalsponge made which definitly isnt the most beautiful fanon ship ive ever seen...and i most definitly hope they dont accidentally make it canon or something...
Wink wink
I have a legal program that allows me to build anything so I have built a number of star destroyer models in it, once there is small or smaller than the Introductor class all the way up to superstar destroyers, and on a few of them, I've mirrored the dorsal and inventoral hulls with the exception of a a ventral hanger.
I got the idea from a few fan films that were in the form of a documentary of the empire that follows a carrier group and the large carrier Is star destroyer shape with its dorsal and ventral holes mirrored.
Do have to say digging the outro music.
#askeck what happens to the best star wars character ever eli vanto and does he become crucial to thrawn ?
Nice music at the end of the video.
Even the whole Xyston ship design is just extremely lazy. Oh yay, let's copy-paste a model we already have made and slap some giant cannon at the bottom.
If only Disney would steal story ideas from fans
Disney stole the Lion King story. Creater didn't care when it came out. Wish he did and sued them.
From the title, Star Wars has swayed so far that I don’t care. More Star Wars. MORE!
The real tragedy is you believing they wouldn't.
#askeck: In season 6, episode 1 of swtcw, general tiplee says there are rumors of "an anti-clone virus, biological warfare." Is it possible that these rumors were about Dr. Hemlock's clone gas in the bad batch? We know Palpatine knew Hemlock and could have him working on it during the war for when the clones had served their purpose after the war?
Disney as Melkor Morgoth
"Design it myself? Why?"
-Disney artists, everyday
Did FractalSponge come out and say Disney stole this? If not, this video makes a lot of assumptions and is just ragebait.
