You always come through with the best pieces. I love that you have an elegant style as well. You got me planning my airport fit to my vacation to Houston next month. I was like wow, I'm going to be cute even at the airport.
Absolutely plan to include some ways to style it soon, you'll def see it pop up more on IG and TIKTOK as I share my OOTDs regularly on those platforms.
Zara and H&M been getting my money 2x a wk for over a month. Zara as usual has been SLAYING in the statement jewelry department, and i haven't seen anyone on UA-cam show casing them 😩. Anywho, nice choices as usual 👌🏾 👍🏾 👏🏾
Their jewelry game is good, but my store RARELY gets them in so I have to wait until I have enough to pieces to buy online to make it worth paying for shipping lol
@@LilMissJBStyle Thank you! ☺️ I’m trying to stop hiding my body and get out of my comfort zone. Watching your channel has helped me embrace my body shape and find pieces that work for me. Excellent content! ❤️
@@Clss09isthbst That makes me so so happy to hear!!!!! I'm so proud of you for taking those steps to break out because I know it was hard. Can't wait to see how you continue to grow in your self love journey 💕
The neckline is heart shape and I would say it's true to size, I wish it had some elastic in the back as I find bustier tops like that stay in place so much better.
Great question, I actually will take the medium to the tailor to have the waist taken in because sizing down might have fixed the waistband but the legs would have been too tight for my preference cos in the summer I can't with tight pants I get too hot😅
Yall know I love me some Zara and H&M, with spring in full swing I popped into Somerset Mall to try on Zara's new in pieces plus head over to H&M to bring you some of my favorite finds that will update your wardrobe for the season! Where are you shopping right now for spring pieces to add to your closet?? Let me know so I can be nosey!
Totally understand your sentiments, and used to feel the same way until I worked on sustainability initiatives for an auto company. A common misconception people still have is that companies are killing animals for their skin when majority of leather is made with hides left over from the meat industry so they are actually a byproduct of a process that was already going to happen. Depending on the tanners leather can actually be a sustainable option compared to "vegan leathers" which are just PVC and also the alternative which is throwing those hides in landfills or incinerating them which is the alternative since the meat industry has no use for them. Just a different perspective to consider.
@@LilMissJBStyleThank you for your perspective. A common misconception is that animal leather is a “by-product” of the meat industry (which is unnecessary as well). It’s actually a co-product which is just as important to the industry as the flesh. The tanning procedure is also one of the most environmentally damaging on the planet. Maybe check out some of the bio-based leathers made from fruit skins, mushrooms, corn, and cactus. There are also some made from recycled water bottles and fishing nets. Some designers are making gorgeous clothes, bags and shoes now from vegan leathers ✌🏻🙏🏻
@@sparky9839 I would love for you to share your sources as I'm not speaking from perception. What I shared is my personal experience having worked on finding and developing sustainable materials for over 3 years including many of the bio-based leathers you've mentioned. A co-product means that these are produced together however leather is not made the moment the animal is slaughtered. It also implies that the leather companies have control over what happens at the farms and slaughterhouses to ensure there are good conditions but they do not. That is what makes it a by-product that the meat industry has chosen instead of wasting the hides to give them a second life. I worked directly with farmers, slaughter houses, tanners, chemical plants, you name it to gather data from C02, water usages, land usage, and much more to create life cycle assessments for those materials so I am speaking from first hand knowledge when I talk about this subject so I don't take what I say lightly and am careful not to misspeak. I know exactly what goes into the development of those materials having visited the production sites as part of my job. I also know how the LCA assessments are done. There are a lot of pitfalls with the current infrastructure for reporting sustainability for many reasons so a lot of the information is very generalized and not specific to a brand who may have committed to going above and beyond for any of their materials to be created more sustainably. That's why in all my videos when I speak on sustainability I encourage everyone to research brands individually when it comes to sustainability for this reason. And understanding this brand, where they source their material and their processes I have no issues recommending their products. I'm not asking you to love leather, but I don't want any misinformation spread on my page either.

@@LilMissJBStyle Thank you. OMG thank you so much, and really happy to have you here.
Listen!!!! Zara has taken lots of my money lately! I have a few pieces that you featured too.
Girrrrllll you already know the struggle. Let me guess you got the orange dress and those cute tie dye pants?!?!
Hello 👋🏽 what’s the cut of the bustier? Is it pretty much true to size? Thx

For the Zara multi colored pants would you have gotten the Xs or small instead of the medium?

Hey beautiful! The white one is actually also from Zara that I tucked under my bra to be a crop top so I could better show off the pants.
