Big shout out to Misha for making the time to give me this experience! I’ve watched so much of your content for several years now and feel honoured that you took me up on the offer to drive my car. Despite the wet and cold conditions (3.5 degrees with snow and sleet on the morning of this video) I can say this still felt mega quick! Especially in comparison to my laps before this! I have no idea how you find the grip when the track feels like an ice rink…..you are so relaxed and chilled dancing the car around this insane track! Epic experience! I’ll be back in the summer when it’s nice and dry…….and with new bigger and better brakes 😅! Thank you Misha, legend 🙏🏼!
I have the north American version of this, the Competition package ZCP. Any time I'm on a track day in the pouring rain the car drives so well in the wet and is extremely predictable!
taycan IS an awd supercomputer with full vectorisation at every wheel; basically, you think you are driving the car, giving the inputs but, actually, it drives itself; every performance EV is a self-driving computer on wheels making you look good while driving fast; it is fake af!(and not real driving)
I love it when you hear a little nugget like "slow feet fast hands" 2:55 that boils down about 10mins of great advice into four, memorable words. Who was Fast Hans anyway?
Still for the ring E46 gives alot more joyment than the Taycan.. How long before EV6 GT got into limpmode? Someone said the 5N could do two straight laps at full power.. 🙄🥳
Thanks 4 the great Content. Always a pleasure to watch.🔥 What would you choose to drive? 328i e36 lightly modded or GR Yaris?? Or would you sell a 328i for a GR?? Thanks for your opinion.
absolute Porsche fan for over 2 decades now ! but Not even Porsche themselfs now accept any of they're used EV's as trade-in for any new Porsche Every used EV is worth less than the cost for a new battery replacement
EVs are like smartphones, dated and disposable after a couple months already. ICE cars like this M3 will be more like mechanical watches, valuable, with lots of heritage.
Very interesting to see your "wet lines".. braking straight, staying wide, short shifting and staying in higher gears for acceleration through corners..
Misha every time you go out on the Nordschlife you never cease to amaze me. I like the explanation you try to give about the track and the experience. Thank you for sharing yours as well as the car owner’s experience. And a huge thank you to the car owner for allowing Misha to share his vehicle to all of us.
E46 M3 is now a classic car, not fast at all but has glorious intake sound especially with a carbon airbox. Exhaust sound isn't the best and can't be corrected but at least it's real sound. I've had one few years ago and if you remove the lower part from the oem airbox with the oem filter it sounds epic!
Misha, what a shame I couldn't let you try my Taycan Turbo in Monza at the MiMo! Looking forward to see you driving one at the Ring, hopefully one of the fastest ones..! 💪😁👍
So i noticed you didn't hit break when the car gone sideways Good Recovery BTW , If I Hit break (as a reflex) when the car gone sideways does it end up pretty bad? I had the question in my mind
Yes when you are already in oversteer braking will essentially make the car rotate more. Sooo many times a relatively simple slide ends in a massive crash because the driver presses the brake or lifts off very suddenly when they are scared.
Train your brain to do the opposite! Go to a wet car park and practice correcting oversteer, then when you can do that practice extending the oversteer😅
I’m probably in the minority but I really enjoy these wet laps. It’s more challenging and shows the driving skill required to get one of these cars around the track with limited grip.
I used to have a 2005 audi S4 B7 (similar weight and horsepower, both V8) and its crazy how constricted the horsepower is wirh airflow. This BMW sounds so sluggish. Having a header and full cat back exhaust really helps these engines open up. Its just crazy how fast cars have come in 15 years
100% a Taycan. In the short frame the the Porsche let of his brakes you can see the difference on the light bar. Panamera goes wide at the edges to leave room for more classic back lights below the light bar while Taycan has just a straight line which this one has.
Can you not tell that he's babying the throttle due to the track conditions?! Even a blind man can see that he's not pushing the car anywhere close to its limits...

How it can be that that Porsche Taycan is THAT much faster than your 🚗??
All wheel drive.
@@sammyjjoo 4 wheel drive and a lot of modern computers doing the traction work for him.
Nice to hear some one give this man the respect he deserves usually car owners are just like hey thanks for the lap.
Bro: this is my fully stock M3 CS, one of 233 registered in the UK.
Misha: Should be okay practice for when I eventually have a wet race this year.
Always good to see e46 in any form. This car is a legend for me
For the whole word the E46 is lengadary.
@@RiasGremoryS54 I own 2002 E46 320i LCI sedan
Taycan has a supercomputer instantly correcting any micro-mistake.. Misha just has his hands and feet.
wdym by supercomputer?
Bruh u gon see how he's going to do in nls. He's going to be the slowest for sure.
Taycan is using AWD and supertires.

Who was Fast Hans anyway?
Hans Stuck…short F1 career , saloon legend
6:54 Full "7 Sec Ring Master" vibes right there! =)
That was a dam quality save, well held misha
that was how it's done 😎
Loved the information and the knowledge given. It is exciting to see the logic behind your actions, driving lines, and track. Thank you.

All of my favorite cars are driven on wet days :(
jesus you did this with eagle f1's... fuck that. testament to your smooth driving that you didn't' have more code brown moments.
Thank you for The update truck seminar, love always

Hope to see you in a supercharged e46 one day 🙌 big fan of ur video. Love it when I see u driving the e46 😍
Not sure how long you've been around, but here you go... IMHO - still one of the best videos to date.

You're welcome!
Really appreciated the detailed commentary accompanied by the N54 soundtrack in this video. What an experience for the owner!
The E46 M3 is a real legend car and the Taycan is just not 🤷♂🤷♂
That E46 engine note is glorious.
Very interesting to see your "wet lines".. braking straight, staying wide, short shifting and staying in higher gears for acceleration through corners..
Misha, how about a slow-mo replay of your correction? Doesn't happen often, would be interesting to see steering and braking action.

Good lap! I would not worry Misha! In the rain four wheel drive versus rear wheel. Hard to win most of the time!
That sound ...
I think it needs better tyres & brakes, but otherwise stock E46 M3 is more than enough to have fun driving on various roads.
Incredible!!! Thank you so much for the lesson. Dry everyone runs but my dude you have hands and feet!!!!

its good to see the e46 m3 can catch good drivers by suprise too. good save there. they really can just snap on cold tyres.
That was quiet a comfy lap 😁
This was some amazing driving. The first half all close to the limits but never over it.
That was a nice lap to watch, it remembered me of the wet lap you did with Icecold Moritz few years ago
Very good video, very rare to have someone driving properly in wet track AND explaining why!! 😅
what a smooth driving by misha.. thank you for guiding in wet condition safely .

Nice engine sound.
First time i drove on a wet Nurburgring i couldn’t not believe how little grip there was Like Ice in places

Yes, all the weight would shift to the front of the car, loosening up the rear even more.

Misha got better footwork than patrick swayze !
that tat can also overtook me when I was driving on carfriday - also, in the wet

I presume the Taycan is awd and hence its relative pace
And it’s a Porsche With a good pilot.
those seats look comfy af
Anything with e36 / e46 and M3 gets my attention ❤ .
Wet line is very interesting great video!
Is the E46 M3 CS different than the Competition?
I think cs in europe is same as zcp in the US
The car was a csl lite.. same alloys, steering rack and m track mode
6:55 I bet the passenger seat has a permanent crease in it from this point :D
Great car.....again,thanks a lot for the show !
I Appreciate the wet line break down. Well done.
The Taycan has better tires
Taycan has stabilization systems and AWD
Der Allradantrieb wechselt zu einer hecklastigen Verteilung und wird dynamisch geregelt. Beste für die Bedingungen 😉
It's also lots heavier, generating more grip just by itself (by being heavy). Better tires, vectoring etc....
F*** it, the E46 makes noises tho.... pretty nice ones too
Maybe Misha should drive a 964 speedster on the green hell in Indischrot, a 993 would become a little bit more difficult 😊
Why are you touring the car before upshifting After the lauda kurve?
Seen it often and i woud Like to know the reason
Owner: yep we're still alive
Lovely E46 M3 but bad wether 😢
But you had fun, he did not.
Those dry lines are so confusing lol, it looks very uneasy being so close to the grass

I dont feel so bad for slowing down ++ in my 330 when its wet now 😂
E46 M3は世界最高のエンジン音だ
@Misha Are we sure this is a Taycan ? It looks like a Panamera to my eyes .
Panamera is an suv, this was a taycan but it was an estate version. I believe it's called the taycan cross turismo.
Definitely a Taycan, it's either the sport Turismo or cross Turismo

Good video
I had a little brush with a Taycan a couple of weeks ago, the thing was fast.
700+hp, of course its fast...
I love this car
No more videos filmed at Apex parking? I kind of miss that spot 🥲
Misha is not with Apex anymore and has quit with them. That's it he is not filming there anymore....
Taycan is the world’s easiest car to drive FAST❤
Maybe but not emotions.
Misha have you been on the magic mushrooms sir…😂👍
This m3 is NOT putting out 340hp, something is wrong

I don’t watch this video it’s wet slow and boring but anyway thank-you for some people who got same M3 E46 I’m sure this video very interesting👍
Dude the videos are better when you don’t talk
You have a volume switch right?either that or don’t watch…either can work for you dude
Taycan is an ev. So it runs of power soon it maybe start fast but ends quickly.
