There was a typo in the question as noted in another comment, but that did not matter! :) The answer was A, not C (the answer with an error). (or else it would have cost him $218k)

I think Michael is the first person worldwide to reach the $500,000 level and see the $1,000,000 question, but I'm not sure about that. I know that John Carpenter is the first person worldwide to win the whole thing.

A titanic question for $125,000? As a Titanic geek and someone who watched the movie countless times as a kid, I would love to get a question like that. Wouldn't need a lifeline.

To me that's a $1,000 at most! And yet this guy had to walk away, because he didn't know and the friend he called didn't know…
