There is an ongoing storyline in BTS MVs. It's a lot to get into, so I'm just gonna leave the storyline conversation right there. But it's definitely something to look into.
When you flip the word "on" around, you get "no". So this song is a follow-up to their song "N.O" (2013). "N.O" is a song about the strict educational system in Korea, etc... "ON" is about standing strong, following your dreams, going against the grain. Both songs are a play-off each other. Both have deep meanings.
The songs that BTS creates carry far deeper more than the 3 English tracks. That's why I'm glad you guys read the subs. There is a lot of symbolic messages. What may seem like lovey-dovey lyrics at times, there is something deeper involved.

BTS just had a 4-Day sold out concert at SoFi Stadium in LA, 2days Nov and 2days Dec 2021!🕺🎶🎤👑🥇🏆🌎 There's a concert in SKorea in March 2022 if they don't cancel due to COVID-19 OMICRON, here's praying they don't!🙋🤗💜💞✌️🙏

i’m sure there are already plenty comments below, but the requested mv is “on kinetic manifesto film come prima”, not this version. hope you watch it. also, throw your shoe onstage? please, you’d be lucky to get a ticket for parking for a bts concert, so i hope your arm is good 😂. they just did 4 sold out shows at sofi (where this year’s super bowl will be) at the end of 2021. tickets were gone BEFORE they even got to general sale. i had to sell my first born, but i managed to get to go all days. i’m STILL suffering from post concert depression.

This is the offical video for this song, and I'm not sure if you know this, but BTS really don't like to use Green Screens. So everything you saw in the video was real, that giant wall, the open fields, the river, and yes even the rock that he ran up. All of this is about 50 miles north of L.A.. And now that you have seen this one, please check "On: Kinetic Manifesto Film." In simplest terms it is a choero video. They use a dance troop called "The Lab" and the choreographer is the first person you see in the video. But I also wanted to let you guys know, and I'm sorry I am not sure who mentioned it, but you mentioned "Drumline," well they actually did use a drum line. They asked the drum line from UCLA, as well as the Jazz team and Gospel choir. All UCLA. Not to mention the other video was also filmed in L.A.. It was filmed in an area that has been used in a lot of videos and movies in the past. And to help u out, it's the L.A. Wash at the Sepulveda Bridge. It is one of their best and hardest choeros they have done. And the camera work is really amazing. Think Drones!

I know many have their theories and there’s no animal cruelty 👀 they've brought so much symbolism on top of using a live marching band along with church chorus (which you can hear in the back track) from the moment I saw JIN battlefield w/ bird & empty cage after along battle, Jimin w/things of the past, blindfolded girl w/Tae broken wings & neck tattoo (represents infection), Namjoon w/ animals & ship, thorn-bonded Jungkook, Hobi open field of twisted trees w/passed out JK, Suga in underworld. Everything literally reminds everyone of lord of the rings and Noah's ark with maze runner combination of the lion king with the different time period outfits & scenes, apocalyptic fake love dance break, dove of hope, JK horn call of freedom while trying to understand his story then he does the young forever run up the rock smiling and I'm like 😱🤯 After watching the second time OMG I think finally got the meaning toward the end JIN released the dove (represents JK), the horn call of freedom, walking through the wall, the firestorm and up the rock is them beginning of a new chapter with new songs, genres, and concepts. Regarding the wall I believe this is BTS’s way of showing that they’re ready to move onto the next chapter of hope & freedom showing how far they've come and confidently walking up the pride rock b/c of how proud they are of their legacy. which is why they put their debut track “NO MORE DREAM” changing to “DREAM” (PAST MEETS PRESENT) *THERES SO MANY APOCALYPTIC REFERENCES* They finally put together their HYYH storyline which means they have completed that part of the story. *Regarding the blindfold girl, there’s many theories .... some say she could be innocence so that she doesn’t see the negative world then V uncovers her eyes to a better place and others say her along with the extra people represent the ARMY and its BTS way of showing the people who are blinded (not physically) to the positive impact the music has in the world and leading them to a better future but the true meaning behind the girl is she represents the little sister V lost (HYYH Storyline). Also, those were real thorns around JK’s wrists which is according to him one of the reasons he was running because he wanted to get them off and he did when he entered the pond which was a real place then picked up the horn to blow it (No worries I’m sure he was he was vaccinated before getting into the water so he wouldn’t get sick or catch a disease).* #ON #BTS

BTS has an extremely vast and diverse discography....they can do almost any genre well....whatever your mood is, there is a BTS song for it. Can't wait until you watch more. Some of my fave tracks are BTS Cypher pt. 3, Intro Serendipity, Outro Tear, Louder Than Bombs, Tomorrow, House of Cards, Zero o'clock, DDaeng, Ugh, We Are Bulletproof Eternal, Born Singer, etc etc....I could go on and on...we are getting a new album soon too!
